Third Beta Test will begin Jan 24th

Hello. This is Silkroad Online.

We are pleased to announce that the 3rd Beta Test period will begin very shortly. Since we have finished with the network oriented phase of this entire testing period, this period will focus on the bettering the gameplay and player experience with the introduction of an anti-cheat program. This program will start at the same time you enter the game. We will be testing this as well as other gameplay elements during this test.

We are working hard on finalizing preparations for this test and have tentatively set the date for the start of the 3rd Beta Test on January 24, 2006 (Korean Standard Time[ shown on the left side of the front page of this site]).

We will post more details regarding the 3rd Beta Test in the near future in the official notice section of our homepage (http://www.silkroadonline.net)

Yeh, thanks for pointing that out

But anti cheating program to start when the game starts? That sounds a bit fishy... Gunbound has one and it doesnt do a thing towards hackers. Just hinders the bots/trainers sold on ebay.

Updating everything.

Every character and account probobly needs updating to the new code, features, and formatting.

Plus if they added item abilities and stuff, they have to rehash all the item data. Same for skills and everything else.

Well master wong right now im playing jap. sRO just to 'feed' my craving to play silkroad... I cant understand any words from that server but oh well. As long as i get to play the same idea of a game that's all that matters for me now.

just keep clicking until the quest box is full and then kill a couple hundred tigers and bandits.

When done, open the .exe and install it in your japSRO folder.
Note Do NOT, I repeat Do NOT install this in the default folder, chances are your International SRO will be gone after that, so make sure you install both games in different folders

It needs to update, which might take some time, I suggest you amke a sandwich or something in the mean time.

Note You cannot log in with your existing Silk Road account, you will have to make a new one, this can be done on This page.

Login, choose a server and enjoy

You will recieve an e-mail which contains a link. Click it.

Once clicked the link, Mark both squares and click the button below.
You will reach a form which must be filled out.

Guide trough this form, what to fill in

Box 1 Username

Box 2 3 password and re-type password

Box 4 Birthdate in Western Characters.

Box 5 circle one male circle two female

Box 6 random

Box 7 random

Box 8 Dense code * Please input with half angle alphanumerical 6 letter. * Code of secret are times when it utilizes as reference of this human verification

i found out that it will overide ur international sro programs file folder so u will have to download it again.
