Buying New Desktop PC
Well, since i've always had laptops i want a desktop aswell what do you think of this one?
*AMD quadcore 2.6ghz, 8gbram, 500gb HD, geforce 9500 1gb, Motherboard ASUS
*530$ w/o monitor
Is the price alright? im making the buy through internet.

Price is okay, but you're lacking a strong video card. Upgrade that for the extra $$ and it'd be well worth it.

I agree the overall system is good but you definitely will need a video card upgrade

Thanks everyone for the advice, that PC goes for more than 2k USD in my country i couldnt believe i could buy all that in the internet for that price. im definetly getting better video card and with the spare money buy a good monitor, mouse, keyboard, headphones etc etc

First of all you better hope your using 64 bit vista or else its completely useless to begin with >_>
But seriously, do you really need specs that good? Hell unless your doing some sort of insane high end processing you wont even come close to using the maxmimum potential of that machine. Oh and i say upgrade to the ATI 4870 or the NVidea 9800GT. If prices really are so cheap over there then its worth it.

Can't actually get all that for 500$. Processor is about 150$, and the 4870 is something like 250$. That's just 2 parts and it's already 300~. 500gb HDD..65++..Missing PSU, probably not a very great motherboard, etc.

Well thats what i factured, and even if it goes for 800$ its still cheap.
