if you can't back that up with proper proof as to why snowboarding is for
the technically unsophisticated, then you're full of crap.
i suppose you haven't tried snowboarding, since that would make you part
of us technically unsophisticated humans. srsly, back up your own story
before telling us we have to. i have done both skiïng and snowboarding,
and in the end i found snowboarding more fun. and both require a good
amount of technique.
please tell me you've properly tried snowboarding (as in, you can go
downhill, take turns on it, etc).
first of all, i can back up my arguemnt. i jsut didnt want to type that much. and i wont go into detial, but im assuming you know alot about skiing and boarding.
in skiing, it gets harder as you become better, but in snowboarding, it gets easier as you master techniques. once the basics are mastered, it becomes easier compared to skiing (not saying it is easy).
and again i will assume you knwo what i mean:
in skiing, you go from pizza and fries into parallel turns, and into hockey stops. then you can do alpine skiing and monguls.
then for even more of a challenge, you can do back country. which is extremely physically demanding, which i know snowboarding is too.
i think the toughest skiiers i ahve seen do telemark skiing. that becomes a whole new ballgame.
for snowboarding however, i only know a few ppl who are good at nowboarding, and i dont nkow advanced terms.
but in teh beginning, you learn how to control speed adn carve. S-turns and grabs, 360s alpine snowboarding. beyond that i dont know much. please tell me about it though.
in terms of speed, technipue and maneuverbility, skiing has an edge.
we all know skiing is faster, as far as maneuverbility goes, you can backcountry, and ski through trees (as in outside of slopes), which i havnt seen a snowboarder do. i dont think i even have to go into telemark skiing.
i hope i ddint offend you by saying if you cant back your argumrnt, yuor full of crap. its more intended to the people who finds the idea of one appealing with no real reason. my argument is that i find skiing more challenging and the purpose is to open my eyes if snow boarding reuires more skill adn technique tahn skiing.
boyaka boyaka.
