if u think like this, it's very strange as till i unistalled ISRO to make space for VSRO, it worked perfectly with even higher spec: it could lag a bit but nothing graphical related.

Since the media file is updated regularly, you may encounter problems when running Vsro with the old media. So i made a small guide so that you can make your own English media for Vsro.


Requirement:
1. Media extractor and Media Editor ( Please find them in the Guide area, im sure someone has posted a link there ).
2. Microsoft Exel ( probably other speadsheet package will work as well )


Steps:

1. Install Vsro normally with the Vsro orginal media.pk2.
2. Update Vsro. Get into the game and see if things are working normally.
2*. Make a backup of the Vsro media file and Vsro original folder. You will need the Vsro orginal game for future process of making new media.pk2.
3. Use PK extractor to extract the files: textdataname.txt textevent.txt textquest.txt textuisystem.txt and textzonename.txt. After extraction, the files will appear to be a notepad file ( .txt file )
4. Open each of the files with Exel, and switch the English column with the Vietnamese column ( should be the last two column )
5. Integrate back the changed files to the media.pk2 ( Using media editor, i think ) , and use that media/pk2 to run vsro.
6. In case you're not very familiar with the pk extrator and pk editor, read the small guide that the author made.


Dont spam me with questions. Im not a pro with this ( i have never touched a PK2 editor before ), but i managed to make a media.pk2 successfully on my 1st try, meaning these stuffs are quite easy-to-understand-and-do. Please study the subject carefully before making any question posts, and dont count on me too much. I will be gladly of help if i can, of course.

many thanks MysticLotus, i read ur thread but i didn't see this guide, i'll try it now, hope it works, i'm reaaly no good with Viet.

Edit: tried it, it's even better than the other guide's result, but still not as the original: it still block my graphic system every 3 mins, with all the rest that works. the last hope is that formatting my PC and reinstalling the SO and VSRO after the drivers will recreate the ideal environment ISRO worked fine in.

sorry for the double post, but i need a clean post to report clearly

after having formatted my PC and reinstalled Xp with SP3, i tried VSRO with all the particular media.pk2 files:
- with the original one and lowest spec, it doesn't crash EVER, nor stops
- with the dowloaded one and lowest spec, i have 15 sec of playing then 45 of stopped graphic
- with the manually modified one and lowest spec, it only stops every 3 mins

for lowest spec i mean all the graphic system turned to worst quality, except for resolution, which is and will always be 1024*768, if not i wouldn't play SRO.

i think i will try to get an updated graphic board, but im not so sure what to pick (please suggest but know that this pc won't live long, at max 8 months, due to personal reasons)

Just buy a whole nex computer if you know nothing about the inside of a pc
& errm, savi, you only need to make a new media.pk2 when there's a HUGE update(eg 100cap, bandit fortress, ...) Im still using the old one, and it only crashes 3 times a day

it's not that i don't know anything of what's inside a pc, but the problem is that in october i will surely buy a notebook for my personal needs and this one will be unused and almost surely sold or recycled, so i don't want to buy an expensive GPU (also because i would have to upgrade other parts) just a decent one (mine is a nvidia geforce 4 )

EDIT: unfortunately, it seems i won't get anything for my pc at least in the next month, so playing VSRO is delayed till then (can't really play with viet Media.pk2), sorry for all the problems i took here

1. X2 – Niềm vui nhân đôi:

· Các lữ khách sẽ được nhân đôi điểm kinh nghiệm, kĩ năng và tỉ lệ rơi đồ

· Diễn ra từ ngày 28/2 đến hết ngày 8/3/2009

2. Quà tặng bất ngờ - Mỗi Server mới 25 USB 4G cho 25 lữ khách may mắn:

· Diễn ra từ ngày 26/2 đến hết ngày 28/2/2009

· Người trúng giải là những tài khoản người chơi mới khi đăng nhập vào game lần đầu tiên.

· Người trúng giải là người may mắn được hệ thống chọn ngẫu nhiên trong số những người tham gia vào 2 cụm máy chủ mới và lấy ra được 8 người (4 người trên mỗi cụm máy chủ)

· Người trúng giải là người gửi đầy đủ thông tin về Ban Tổ Chức ngay sau khi nhận được thông báo trúng giải trên trang chủ http://conduongtolua.com.vn và trong game (trường hợp không gửi thông tin đầy đủ sẽ bị hủy kết quả)

Im thinking of creating a weekly event for our community on Vsro, just for some fun on the never-ending-road. The best idea that comes to my mind atm is Big 1-star Trade.

We can have 10+ below level 40 traders all go for a 1* trade, and all the rest of the Union either go Hunter or outside buffer. By going 1-star, our fun wont be spoilt by level 90 theives And we can enjoy the scenery along the road, together with 10+ camels following each other

I plan to make our Big 1* Trade event on Friday 6 March 9:30 PM ( GMT time zone ) Advise me a more suitable time if you really cant make it

Even if you are no longer active on Vsro, please log on at the designated time and have some fun with us. The more, the merrier
