THE woman who was credited with having world's longest fingernails has lost them in a car crash. Lee Redmond, who was listed as having the longest nails in the Guinness Book of World Records, suffered serious but not life threatening injuires in an accident in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Wednesday, local paper the Desert News reported.
Ms Redmond was thrown out of a 4WD vehicle and was taken to hospital, Salt Lake County Sheriff's Lieutenant Don Hutson said, according to wire service AP.
The nails, which have not been cut since 1979 and were last measured by Guinness in 2008 at a combined length of 8.65m with her right thumb nail being the longest at 90cm, were broken.
I saw a photo of the nails once. Eww. I don't want to know how you take care of yourself, comb your hair, wash etc with such nails. Same for driving a car.
She's lucky her nails didn't inflict any damage to her eyes when he decided to captain falcon out of the car. Most people tend to protect their face with their arms.

I lolled. Now they can start the therapy and beat her mind with the hammer of psychology and dose her with severe medication while she struggles with regaining what's left of her fragile and severely underdeveloped mind. ( It's okay, less is more. ) Bet you 10 bucks she didn't even mentally age coherently.. Look at the look on her face, she's gone man. Way gone. They should send her over to Patch Adams or deport her ass back into the Jumanji board where she clawed out from.
