Full str's lvling solution.

Post by sativa »

Hi people.
As you all can see a big number of players who likes pure str/blade chars are not so happy about the lvl up speed of this build.
So wouldnt be a good deal to get the pacheon skills for lvl up?
When grinding the used weapon could be the bow that kills mobs easier and faster for str based builds.
What do you guys think about that?

Of course its gonna eat much more sp, but i think is really cool to have an option when you get little sick of your main fighting style.

Im just saying many do it, allthough its hardcore if you go all the way as a blader, I find that very hardcore anyways^^, and yes its shit loads of skill re-location + you need to farm more sp since bladers usually need more sp then glaivers and bowusers

my solution: buy a kid bro, pay him 5usd per lvl he does for you;)

My kid brother is my bot, I have lvl 46 blader too.

That is a great idea. A buddy of mine did it, but found his kidbot cost him alot of gold as it wasted potions, pets, sold good drops to npcs, etc.

Hmmm maybe try training at green mobs rather than white? Use golden ticket if you're willing to spend some cash? and ALWAYS PARTY using exp distribution?

Maybe the 1st and 3rd step can help those who are not willing to buy gold ticket like me

I'm running into the same issue myself. I'm a pure str blader using fire skills. I am working on getting my wolf up to my level, but I do spend a lot of cash reviving him. I'm working with a 3 level gap between my char and my skills. I guess I could level up my skills to match my char, but I've heard that's a bad idea. Besides, I only have around 150 SP. I've never done the SP farming thing, so I don't earn much SP either.

Agreed. Bladers are so much more fun than glaivers.

Combos > all.

Glaivers level faster than Bows. Second build to reach top level on Athens/Venice were Glaives. Of course, nukers were first -_-.

you will lose 20% of the original sp you put into the skill so you will have to keep a gap to make up for the sp that was waisted and the gap will slow your leveling down ALOT!!!! so it takes away from the whole *faster lvling*... in the end you will end missing alot of money

Lol...i like glaive because of stun+decent dmg+decent hp.

Actually there is no real solution. It depends on yourself to a certain extent. If you don't know how to kill and kept wandering to find giants, you will end up trying to level for hours and end up only with 5%

I just don't know. I always thought that the blade moves looked extremely cool, that and the fact that its a pain in the ass to pvp a pure str blader. Even though I really liked my pure str fire glaive, I wanted to try the blader build to see how it is, so when my girlfriend decided to start a pure str fire blade char I volunteered to level it for her. It was cool at the beginning, and getting to 31 so I can get the 4 and 5 combos really kept me motivated, but once I got to lvl 34, grinding became a real pain, and it took forvever to kill anything. I really really really started to miss my glaive's ability to just go up to something, hit 2 quick skills and have it die. In the end, I got so tired of the low damage dealing the only way I could grind on it for hours is to zoom the camera so it was practically directly behind the characer, and just watch the pretty colors and flashy moves so I didn't see the numbers :P
My glass is never half empty because I get refills.
