copyright laws sux. Deezer had to remove uh.. 95% of my songs on a playlist, only 5 rise against ones left.
anyone know another site with free streaming music so I don't shoot myself while playing SRO?
otherwise I'll just download when my new hard drive gets here. :[

I use playlist.com, you can get all the songs you want for free and put them on your own free playlist. But you don't actually ''own'' the songs. You have to go to playlist.com to listen to them. But if you want to download songs to put on itunes or other programs, Frost Wire, or Lime Wire, work great.

playlist can let you get the code of your costume playlist and copy it to any webpage

just mark it as favorite and listen to it everytime you want

To me, most albums only have a few good songs and I can't justify spending money on an entire album for a few songs.

Funny you're making judgments like that. I use iTunes to buy music, and I use other sources to find songs that I can't get on iTunes. Since most of my music isn't mainstream shit, it's hard to find on iTunes.

Not against iPods, I'm not an anti apple crusader nor a apple leg humper, but DRM locked media is penis. And from what I've heard, hooray they sell non-DRM locked media! FOR MORE MONEY. I'm with XKCD and Free Culture on this one.

Imo, Dr. Sharvigo pt 3. WAY better. I have a few songs by The Devil Wears Prada. I'm not a big fan though. I'd love to hear some more bands, but i'm a lazy asshole. So do me a favor and PM me haha... I'm really picky about my music, the band has to be exactly what i want for me to listen to it. OT: sounds like you should use itunes, only problem is, itunes is a MG whore.m

Gotta agree with you here. I have around 150 more cd's i need to rip atm, just haven't gotten around to doing it yet. I spend my free money on my wants. Music is a want, thus money gets spent on it. Just like games, movies, food or even cinema tickets. There's no need to steal music at all, simple as that.

Man must learn to think of these horrible outcomes before he acts selfishly or else, I fear, recording artists will be forever doomed to a life of only semi-luxury.

The only thing I spend money on that I could probably get free are games. My OS and every licensed program ($120~$500 for software, ya no thx!) I get free. I stream all my favorite shows I miss too whenever I want.
Recording artists should be happy that people listen to their music, get their message. They aren't living in slums.

per song thats twice as much as buying a cd, i remember when i was like 11 and i bought an aaron carter cd it cost 11$, and i think it had mabey 16 songs on it?

imo todays recording artists (notice my wording) do not need to be paid 2$ for each song. if they need money, do more concerts, be in commercials, make a clothing line(like some have done) and just do something instead of partying or getting addicted to drugs. shit snoop dogg has a tv show on mtv, he knows how to make money even when hes not writing music without being paid for each song that ppl end up having to buy 3 or 4 times.

and i understand that.... somehow your not understanding what i ment. you said 1.99 is cheap, yet its double what it used to be. before downloading, it was about .75 per song, now you download them for $2 a song and its cheap?

its the same as buying a $5 latte at starbucks, looks cheap but try doing that everyday for a couple years and it'll be enough money for a downpayment for a new car.
