Phase 1 and 2 Im the tank (moon over my head)

I don't really raid much anymore. I kinda bench sit for the guild I just joined and show up randomly when they need warm bodies. Trying to find myself a PvP partner to get my 2s team up All the damn holy pallies on my server already have DK partners it seems.

That seemed pretty easy ;o My guild JUST cleared 25man Malygos today after approx 10 wipes. I couldn't be there cause of other commitments but damn .. seems quite fun.

Well, drops are ILVL 226, but that doesnt mean its anything people can use.

Theres a couple decent item, trinket (more plz), tank pants everyone has now, a couple chestplates.

My guild isn't that hardcore in raiding, currently we are still progressing in 25 man Naxxramas and unless we get the best 10 of the guild, Malygos is actually quite a problem, especially after the 3.0.8 patch. We still have 4 more bosses left on Naxxramas heroic, Thaddius (tried to down him like 5 times tonight, don't know why people just can't do what they are told, it's not hard to be honest), 4 horsemen, Sapphiron and Kel'Thuzard.

By the way, what's the name of the song? I'm liking it!

Malygos is actually quite a problem, especially after the 3.0.8 patch

Because some healers took it in the tail on 3.08 and whether or not it is/was/fixed bug or intentional, most aoe healers dont work in vortex

That and malygos was bugged to shit, explodign ppl in the raid, meleeing the tank in ph2

Which is fine; if your raid is 20k HP after buffs nobody will die in a vortex, patch em up fast have the priests/shamans/restos do this and keep the tank alive = win

He no longer breaths when he lands in heroic (to fix the pet bug)

Having people do "Aces High!" for phase 3 didnt fix a damn thing; lot of people didnt even have the quests for wyrmrest done to unlock that even

Notice in my vid im picked twice in PH3 and never touched shield; just have four people on AOE heals and EVERYONE else doing 1, 1, 2 repeatedly. You see some people die, but not everyoens so great at moving out of the lightning ball AOE and yeah RNG is a bitch if your picked 3x

But im confident even if I got picked 3x I would live without shield simply cuz I pop the aoe heal when the surge is in progress and keep hots on myself as one of the four healers

P2, well wiped a few times there for some reason when the emote came 'Malygos is takign a deep breath' some people thought it would be a good time to cross the platformto get into the fresh bubble shield.

And P3 .. well either we'd all die straight away or get him to like 5% and he'd enrage.


After almost 2 hours of wipes, we finally got the bugger down after I got marked during P3 and everyone stuck to me. Most add, in the fight were we downed him .. I got 'Malygos has his eyes on you' or w/e 4 times in a row. So <3 the healers when they do their job : >

Btw, MAIL items always drop now .. sucks so much.

Seems like the 25 man version is easier than the 10 man, how many sparks spawn between each air phase in 25 man?

Nice nice; PH1 is worlds easier now because the tricky part was removed. In 25 man he'd breath after landing each vortex, so the tank and raid must move opposite directions; however the "pets" who didnt auto-follow their master soon enough were getting breath debuff from being in the center, and blowing up the raid 5s later so blizz just removed the breath all together, making it cake >.<

Phase 2 is often pure RNG, if someone gets hit by 2 scions while transitioning bubbles they will die, and not a thing you can do about it in most cases; acceptable losses are acceptable but we have 2 druids so a battle res usually fixes a bad RNG. (Just annoying when it happens to same person 2x)

PH3 we change up a little

21 people....

Start with 1, 2, 1, 2 for two quick stacks
1, 1, 2 for the rest of the encounter, no shield or HoT

4 people doing nothing but AOE heal, alternating casts

Move as a big ball

I unno I find 10 man much easier, one shot it with 3 pugs (two who never been there) last night, simply because

In the 25 man people are still not bundling for AOE heals, still not moving out of the lightning fast enough, still moving way ahead of the group and out of range of heals, blahblahblahblah

We trying for 6 min kill, we got it just under 7 mins in the 10... we dont even come close in the 25 too many average peeps
