Not the comic series. Lately i've been having more acne then ushal (_l_ puberty) and i have a few acne treatment things, but they don't seem to be working too well. I was wondering if anyone knows any good acne treatment products. Normally i would google or blackle this, but there are thousands of acne treatment products out there. So if anyone could recomend some, i would be very thankful. Also, does anyone know were acne generally comes? So that i can treat those areas ahead of time. My brother got acne of his face and back, anywhere else i should watch? (Sorry for any miss spelled words or grammar errors, i'm posting on my phone and there isn't a spell check -.-)

i didn't have any pimples when i hit puberty, but now, 6/7 yrs later, they are starting to appear all over my forehead

people said to wash your face often, dont let the watever build up, i found the more i wash, the more they appear

I have one or two very minor "scars" from old pimples when i use to pop them, although they are barley noticeable. I use OXY skin toned pimple cream as a form of cover up. By slightly dabbing it on it acts as a sort of make up with the added benefit of being a pimple cream. Any skin toned pimple cream should suffice, that's the best advice i have. sorry.

Best stuff ever imo. I had it really bad until my dermatologist gave me a prescription of that. Wash once a day in the shower and it works fine. Clears your face up and keeps it clear.

Never really had any pimples...i get one like every 8 months, never had more than one at once. Course i drink a lot of water everyday, all i drink. Might have something to do with it

If you do it to early, nothing will happen and you will just have a bigger redder lump. (Is redder a word?) you have to wait for a white head to pop it -.- currently i'm using Sandoz, Mary Kay Clarifying Mask and Treatment gel (lol, i'm using Mary Kay XD) and also i'm using some stuff from japan that doesn't work o.o and i just got some thing called Velocity (it's basically soap in a bottle -.-) i generall eat heathy... I have a really healthy family -.- i drink more sodas and juices then i do water, which i suppose doesn't help... Thank you for the suggestions, and... The links... Lol

Sometimes acne is something you have to outgrow. I remember in high school I would get 3 new pimples every week and I tried oxyclean, clearasil, neutrogena, pro activ. Strangely I didn't get pimples on my left cheek as my right one had up to 3 at a time. Thankfully I only get a small breakout every once in a while now but the scars are still there. I'd say try an acne treatment that uses a cleanser, toner, and healing lotion like proactiv. Prepare for dry and peeling skin though.

Just so you all know: (pharmaceutical family ftw)

Using a face cleanser will make your zits appear more red for the first 3-7 days. This is beacuse they "pull" the puss from the insideof your face to the front. Do not pop a zit unless it has a noticable white cap, or popping it will uselessly spread the infection.

I used a standard neutrogena facewash + Clearasil 10% benziol peroxide cream.

Directions:

Wet face.
Use facewash.
Rinse facewash.
Apply Benzoil peroxide to all of face.
DO NOT CLEAN OFF / DO NOT USE TOO MUCH. The benzoil peroxide comes in a small tube, but is extremely powerful. Using too much will make your skin so dry it will peal.

Wash face 2 times a day, use benzoil peroxide 1 time a day unless after 10 days you still have noticable acne. NOT noticable zits; you'll always have zits as a teenager. I mean like lots of zits. If acne persists afte 10 days, use benzoil peroxide 2 times / day.



Drinking LOTS of water (not gatorade // sugary drinks) will aid in flushing out toxins in your system. [SERIOUS] If your pee is yellow, it means that you are not drinking enough water. It should be clear. [/SERIOUS]

from googling, if you apply lemon juice to your face, 30min on, then off. the juice will get rid of dead skin and make your scars less noticeable

Some people think acne is just for greasy motherfuckers, and sometimes it is, but usually it's just genetics, my sister is a friggin' clean freak, spends like 2 hours in the morning just getting ready (after her 1 hour shower) but she's still got acne.

What works? I dunno, just wash your face, some things are supposed to help but I don't really think they work.

watch out for it on your upper arms though, I've got it there and it's totally gay.

Truth. My dad had it bad in high school, and thank you genetics, I got it bad. Like I said....ask your dermatologist about Benziq. It worked wonders for me.

OT: I agree with lock on this one sometimes its something you have to outgrow but as someone else pointed out diet and stress plays an important role. Towards finals week i tend to get more pimples than normal but i noticed that when eating healthy and drinking enough water to flush your body pimples come up less and are more manageable. If you have particularly oily places on your skin (my forehead and nose T_T) then use a facial scrub. I always pop my pimples, i know its bad but i can't help it, its like peeling scabs or something i dunno but getting rid of scars can be tough. Best to use a cream or an aloe to heal the skin so it won't block up your pores...

I bought it for $21, and rarely ever have an acne... maybe about once a month but it goes away in 1 or 2 days. back then i get one every few days. it steams your face and kills all microbe in yo skin. and it make blood flow closer to your face and thus more beautiful skin zit-free.

but if you have a really farked up face with shitload of acne, then get Accutane because it works wonder. it clears your face completely for people 98% of the time. the drug cost hundreds of dollars and u need an Rx but i know this pimplehead person, who bought this drug from oversea, a generic brand, and his face magically clear from the worst pimple face to a very good complexion. i never try it but it is one thing that does work for a fact.
