Russians are cocky, always have been. I don't know/care where Eecee is from. I'm going to guess Russia, though it wouldn't surprise me if they actually were from Venus. untrue statment, you'd be better off with 1 gun and 2 clips rather than 2 guns and 2 clips. (Depending on what gun you use) and how does the economy and firearms have anything to do with eachother?

about the 1 gun + 2mags vs 2 guns + 2mags (in canada we call them mags, clips are the state where they come out of ammo boxes), what if your primary weapon goes down, or you dont have time to reload? you bring out your secondary out right? thats why contractors go 1 step beyond that, and pack 2 pistols in addition to their primary weapon

Think he was talking about the election markup, ammo, clips, and assault rifles have all gone up so much just because an election scare. Its hard to actually find some too due to people buying them out. I know a guy who got hold of about 30 Saiga 12s and was selling them for 800ish each just to get them out before they **** guns up.

Lol a .22 has very little kick to it, but hollow-tip bullets do alot of damage when they hit.

.30-06's have a helluva kick, and .300mags do too. And if you ever shot a 20 or 12 gauge omg. [Own all them lol]

But I fired that dragunov rifle once, I think its the same cartridge as the AK47, buuuuuuut it didn't really feel like it had that much kick compared to a magnum rifle. I never did shoot a Ak though but my guess is the extra weight of the longer barrel and all in the SVD keeps the recoil down a little too.

@User, it's hard to aim and fire correctly while holding two guns, and if you only use them 1 at a time, it's a major pain imn the ass to haul the other one with you. You'd be better off with 1 gun and and two 'mags'.

Yup this is right. Also, SVDs have a different operation than AKs that reduces recoil by adding another moving component. Instead of the gas pushing the bolt carrier back, it pushes a spring loaded rod back on the SVD that then in turn knocks the carrier. That's where the SVD gets that "ping" sound from when it shoots. They also use a full sized rifle cartridge, where the AK uses an intermediate (aka shorter) one.

And brenton you can aim just fine with another weapon on you, they only weigh like 8-10lbs. Though I'd rather have a lot more than 2 mags with me, which is where an assault vest comes in. 6 pouches and spots for extra crap, you can't go wrong.

.30-06 is a rather medium kick to it. 20 guage isnt much at all really, 12 gauge is decent. None kick that hard really, though a .308 does make it a little more difficult to line up for the next shot at times. You seem more hilly billy than redneck, with the basic hunting rifles.

I dont see your point. You can reload the gun in the same time it takes to bring up the other gun. Besides you could leave one shot loaded in the gun when you swap mags so you can shoot it mid-reload if needed.

where did you get the idea for reloading during a firefight? have you taken firearms classes?

Dont understand why you guys are talking about carrying two primary weapons. Pistol is always for backup, you should be able to put your primary down fast and draw that pistol and defend yourself, if its not that intense fighting just get cover and reload. But shit hope you carry more than 2 clips lol.
