A shooting guard is meant to SHOOT. What more do you guys want.. People these days score 50+ point games, but you only call Kobe a ballhog and not a team player? You guys need to get your facts right before talking because seriously, you guys end up looking like fools.
Lakers still 1st in the west with a lot of injuries. Andrey Bynum, their best center is out. Jordan Farmar has been out for quite a while but thank god he came back. Kobe has been playing with messed up fingers yet he still drops 60?
Now defensively, I can say Kobe is a better than LeBron. Did you see that Cleveland versus Lakers game a couple of weeks ago? Kobe shut down LeBron. Kobe guarded LeBron yet LeBron was 9-25 that night... That is 36% on the field compared to his usual 49%. Lebron had 4 assists. I can't say Kobe played well offensively in that game because he shot only 41% compared to his average of 48%. He made up for it by getting 12 assists that night.
Oh yeah, btw it's funny how you guys call Kobe a ballhog because of the 61 point victory last night. The worst part is that he only shot 6 more times than LeBron did versus the lakers on Jan 19 versus the Lakers, but yet Kobe still scored nearly the triple of what LeBron had.
/end of argument
i'd like to see what you guys will come up with next
oh, if you want a definition of "team player," those are the players that make their teammates better.
that means not only on the court but also off the court. I'm talking about leadership. kobe tries to give his team mates the same killer instinct he has. Especially Sasha Vujacic who is a very emotional player.
so hmm.. he gets assists, leads the team off the court, plays hurt for the sake of his team, and he scores...
what are you guys going to say next?
