hybrid int spear

hi i was wondering what is a good hybrid in spear build. i was thinking of going to lvl 80 full int and from there lvl 80-90 wih pure str so i get 10 lvls of str. how is this and what gear should i wear, i was thinking garmet or protector. anyone here have a hyb int spear that has 9-10 lvls of str, thanks.

i think protector is best for Hybrid INT spear then you get 50% phy defence and 50% mag
balanced protection

a 8:1 hybrid spear is nothing...it's still near pure...if your gonna go hybrid go 75%-80% naked mag...

I got one, like you wrote in your post... But its not 70... Didnt finish him.. He has 60 lvls pure int, and 10 pure str.. So atm he`s 1:6. But I was going to make him 1:8 or 1:5..
Tbh its an awesome build.. Very fun, and also, very strong. The stuff you should wear depends on the build your making.. For example, if your making 90 Spear Light Cold, you should go with Garment, since you got lower mag def, but awesome phy def from cold. If your going 90 Spear Fire 60 Cold Light so go with prot, that will give you extra phy def.

and waht ratio would a 80% magical balance (naked) be?

I have just finished farming my int spear , same like your build light cold heuskal , full int to 80 and then full str 80-90.. I will be wearing prot/armor mixed maybe ... And Bop what is 80% mag balance in str:int ?

can't you just add int and str watching ur stats ? without any gear on?
or try using nivlam's stats section and figure it out how you should allocate int/str points

although I am sevrely underfarmed, (lvl 89 now) I plan on doing something like suicide build
spear light and fire with just enough ice for mana, for the 100 cap I havent decided but i might just do with out the ice, I wear armor for the lack of phy deff and phy deff passive. also if I really need phy deff its for a good reason, and if so there should be a cleric around me, which I know where to look if i need one.

I have one, and its awesome. Its only 83 lvl atm and with gap 7 I beat 80% people of my lvl. Gona make 90 cold 90light 90 heuksai 30fire. I was in garment while I pvp, few days ago switched to protector to see diference in pvp.

hybrid int spears (10lvls str) if played right are very strong, with their ghost spears and nukes they are the best build (pure ints spears die) at killing 90+ npc thieves, with snow shield you will have 50/50 chance of killing any chinese or euro build except for a blader spamming kd and snow shield, with an 85+7 spear wearing +5/+6 protector set i killed glaivers and bows regularly, however fighting an s/s or blader can be a long ass fight, also wizard clerics and warrior clerics can be abit tricky but can go either way, just make sure you have a decent shield with good br, you will need it to block when he daredevils
