str glavie vs hybrid pear, hybrid sword
who do you think will win? 1.Glavie vs spear 2.Glavie vs sword.
these topic's are so stupid , not only do thay get posted every other month or so , thay are completely ussless
sro is a game where a build is not the only thing that makes you win 1 vs 1 pvp
its also about gear
and as alway's
the one with the most farmed sp and best gear has the best chance of winning , regardless of build

In case you haven’t noticed my answer to your scenario up there was,
"The one with the most sp and best gear will most probably win the match”
You asked my thoughts right?? Well you got them
I dono about you but to me its already pretty clear that build itself matters very litle as long as the build has good ballance %
skills them selfs matter, imbue matters also , but most of these dont carry the same weigth so to say as being equiped in a complete Sos +3 protector set and a sos shield/sword or glaive or wat ever
Quality in gear is very inportant considering the fact that just a few sos defence-tool parts can cancel the damage advantage from a sos weapon pretty eazely
sos weapon > blue/white defence
som weapon > sos defence
sun weapon > som defence
thats basicaly how it works
yes there is skills and passives and skill lvl's these will also help a bunch
hence my statement about the one with the most sp
there is a huge diferance in both staying power and offensive power between a char with say 30.000 invested sp and between one with say 40.000 invested sp
wat more do you want to hear ??
about how stunn will pown the spears lower life and stuff ?? jees those things are up to luck , luck brings you the 30% stunn chance not skill

If both players have non-sos equipment without any stat bonuses, I'd wager
1 full str glaive > hybrid spear
2 full str glaive < hybrid sword (but won't be a dominating match... i'm guessing sword would win 3/5 times or so)
if both players have non-sos equipment with maxed out stats and those other nifty things, then I'd wager hybrid spear AND sword > full str glaive.
The reason is because hybrids benefit more from both stats, whereas pure str only benefits from int. Furthermore, hybrid also benefits more from +HP since that adds a larger percentage of HP to the hybrid's HP pool.
throw in sos equipment, and i'd still say the same thing.. the key is that they both need to be wearing the same number of sos pieces and for the same mounting points.

i'm new, and i wanna make sure if i understand this post. basically, it doesn't matter what your base stats are so long as your magic and physical balances are good after you add eq? so like, a hybrid with 90% physical can hit almost as hard as a pure str with like 95-100%?
i read somewhere that some people think hybrids will become the shit as the cap level rises... is it because the higher your level, the more likely u can get your balances to say 90/90 or something?
