Grats. Yeah, all the time and money spent on shitty games, should have just played WoW from the start.

So I was questing at Icecrown, working on Loremaster and the Seeker title. Tried to solo a 252k HP elite mob lol, managed to get him down to 40% best. This is a screenshot of me having 1 HP left, even blocked 4-5 hits and managed to trigger the cutscene. Too bad I tried to Shadowmeld and eat but then they just despawned...

Don't think I done that one yet ;o I'm somewhere at 90/140 orso .. ding'd 80 and couldn't be bothered to do them lol. But gonna have to start doing them again for achievements. Only one I won't be able to get any soon is the Quests in DragonBlith .... I'm at 114/115 and can NOT find any quests to do ;s

Okay i have a question for anybody who has done RAF.

Atm me and my friend are leveling 2 chars together. She is a first time player so i recruited her, we both have level 14 druids atm.

Now heres where im confused. I understand that for every 2 levels she gets, she can grant me one level, but can she only do that on characters lower than her character, or on any level? Like at level 14 could she only grant levels to <14 or can she give them to any character, such as a 50 warlock?

Only lower.

I advise you to slack a tiny bit in XP when you do 59-60 together. That way she dings 60 before you, while you are 59,99 and then she grants you a level and you'll be 60,99 = 61.
Also goes for some other char you want, level it to x,99 so you get a 'bonus' level.

yup, it's amazing how fast you level with RAF. i got from 1-70 in 2 weeks.

and also, make sure when both of you logout, to set your guys in a rest place so you'll have rest experience when you come back.

Thanks for the replies guys. We are both level 18 now and getting 6k for a quest, which is about 30% of a level I only get about 10-12k on my 71 dk lol

Plus made several thousand questing to 80

But, I bought a Titansteel Shield wall, titansteel destroyer, and some other things like the helm

That plus enchants, and the nobles deck have driven me down to about 4K but I think im finished spending for a while.

The fkin enchants are killer; cost like 3K to put Berserker on a weapon; and I enchant both my tank gear and DPS gear appropriately >.<

always enchanting the T6 stuff.

Do quests to level; get quest reward money, and money for vendoring quest reward items; always choose 2H weps or shields or plate first if you dont need any of the rewards.

Pick up n vendor your grays as you level

Save all your BoE greens and have someone D/E them for you and sell the matts. Dont save it for 80 cuz by that time enchant matt prices will have dropped.

These simple things = thousands of gold.

Dont spend cash on your professions yet; you can do that at 80.

We got someone else in the guild you can hate em with me; he not only sells every tiny thing you could possibly ever pick up, he rakes in stupid amounts of gold jewlcrafting; buy a raw gem for 45g, cut it and relist it for 120g. Then he hops on his alt and farms herbs too, then sells herbs and pot/flask/elixir (and undercuts me all the god damn time) if theres any possible way to make money in WoW hes doing it. srsly

I've found a workaround; instead of competing to sell herbs and elixirs

Herb average 50g a stack with some highs for lichbloom etc.

Snowfall ink price 80-90g. And you get 1-2 per stack of herb

So I've just been milling herbs into snowfall inks (and buying snowfall with 10 ink of the sea) and selling those.

So imagine 80-160g per stack of herbs compared to 50; his little farming ass can have the herb market.

It's only 10 man .. but god am I happy .. it's like, well I dunno such a good feeling lol. The naxx was a gear run for 6/10 of us ( Including me - Staff / T7 hands from KT ) finally downed it after 6+ wipes either ppl not getting out of the void .. or OT sleeping when guardians spawn ^^. Drops contained nothing for me .. but 2 nice maces for the other 5/10 : > Was happy aswell .. pulled a full 200k more aggro than fully T7.5 dps'ers .. alltho too late spamming prnt screen to have omen show it : <

Oh and Ryoko I tried the whole playing the market .. not for me T_T. Sitting comfortably at 3k gold now with everything bought I can use. Including Armoured Brown bear <3. I'll just keep doing my dailys and get my resident DE'er to get me shards ;d.

Alot of changes to my UI from last time .. not perfect and will fix it soon ;d.

This is my sidegear, my protection set is finished until uldar, except for hands. Im just waiting until other people dont need them since I have several gloves. Then I'll be 5/5 Valor and the rest is best in slot, or "best in preference" as I call it

The betrayer, I got as sidegear because its our fourth one.

Yep, and explore exp are tripled. My friend said you get triple reputation too, but i dont know about that, although i am getting alot of rep for low quests. Like +1500 Darnassus for a level 18 quest.

I have Armageddon too.

Maxdps says it would be the second best offhand, but Im doubting that. It has less top end than the jawbone because it is faster, which affects whirlwind damage. The overal weapon DPS is equal, so I guess MDPS is comparing the stats on the item itself. If were only comparing stats, I need the expertise off the jawbone and the human racial (for now, anyway)

I like having just enough expertise that I dont need 2/2 weapon mastery; that frees up 2 talent points.

I guess the easiest answer is to get a 2nd betrayer but next one goin to the ret pally.

right, if you are capped on expertise with the jawbone, which also frees up 2 talent points, then go with jawbone. it's not a big difference at all.

And I already put berserking on the Jawbone when the penalty was changed to 5% armor in 3.08, and right now that enchant cost about 3K in matts so yeah. And you can usually get 2/3 of the berserking duration before ATT updates itself and changes your AP because of the armor loss. But at 5% it aint shit anyway. And both beserkings stack

playing the market is fine but you got to keep an eye on what your selling and the stuff that makes it ie

thorium ore and gems

the gems are low and thorium ore is high something is wrong it will be back to normal in a few days

gems low and thorium low give up find another method of income

just checked my total gold and iv had over 7k by level 45 buying selling, twinked a bit and leveled professions so tbh im doing well and my professions will last til im in outlands now

My DK had about 3k gold when it hit 77. Bought some flying shit, and then abandoned the DK, so the rest went to my mage. Which bought the bear n everything.

Never cared for gold much, i'll farm when i need to, but am very lazy otherwise.

I HAD to farm gold though .. or atleast I felt I had too. At the time I ding'd 80 I didn't have a real guild .. so no raids only pug's for me. And well .. who wants a shitty gear'd tank in their heroics ? . So I got me polar vest / trollwoven girdle / spaulders and the nerubhide cloak. Got myself off to a great start ... tiny 1.5-2k investment come to think of it.

But now got a few pre 25 man gear and doing very well ( At least I think so ;o ). Active guild = Win.


Also, a sort of question for everyone that does VH's. Right .. whe nI pug them everything goes perfect .. not a single boss I can't take easy etc etc keep threat up .. but there's 1 sppawn that gets me into trouble ALL THE TIME. One on the north west sode .. above the void boss. Where the dragons go 2 ways .. I find myself either getting luck and having enough rage for a mass taunt .. gettign there too late or only managing to single taunt x2. So what I wanna ask is .. how does your tank deal with that spawn. ( I've never caused a wipe cause of it, but I'm sure one day I will >.< )

That was changed in 3.08. They didnt used to do that.

Easy enough, go for the two closer to the door first.

Dont run toward that portal until you know what it is, or you screw yourself and your too far away from the front side.

Grab those first, then move to pick up the second two with swipe as they approach.

But yeah .. I'll guess I'll pick them up at the steps. It's always just that portal that splits so annoying. usually I pick up 2 .. and other 2 aggro healer or dps. The nI scramble to get them alltogether for a sec after that it's all good .. but still abit worrying. Next time I'll ask for ppl to hold back see what happens ;d.
