I want to get one of them, my friend plays Skate(one) a lot, is 60$ worth Skate 2?

The graphics/gameplay of skate 2 are basicly the same as skate. $60? Jesus mate whered you find that?

I always add the $ at the end unless I make a concious effort, and I also write my numbers "123 456,00" as opposed to "123,456.00".

Skate 2, it has some nice extra features
You can step off your board, you can replace objects and stuff
+The story is much better imo
