The focal seems a bit too blurry, you should probably get Gimp if you don't feel like getting photoshop.

I'm actually working* on getting PS, but for now I need something to practice on and Paint.NET is closer to PS than gimp. New style, final result;

I still think they are a bit too blurry, but otherwise are pretty good. BTW, isn't Paint.NET just a glorified version of paint? I have never used it, but that is what I thought it was.

Nope, Paint.NET is as far from the real paint as an image editor can get. The program feels like a clone of PS. It has some advantages over PS and some disadvantages. I just made this Planet from a Super Nova render I had laying around:

The fact that PDN is open source gives it some serious advantages over PS, but I still miss my pen tool, burn tool, and dodge tool.
