He wasn't the only one that fell asleep, in my school, they forced us to watch and some people did sleep, however majority were screaming and cheering his name lol I'm not sure whether people understood what he said, but his speech was strong.
Well yeah he is president but you know so? I mean its history but I will not be happy until I see progress and of course that will take years! So pretty much as far as we know he can be the worse or the best. If he is the worse watch out black ppl( that includes me) cuz you know ppl will flame us as a race. If he is the best well good for him ( thats what I hope for.)

there will be progress, but dont expect huge leaps and gains, the bush administration's policies have litteraly destroyed the economy beyond repair, it will take decades upoun decades to bring the economy back to where it was at the end of the clinton administration. if it ever gets back there. as for helping out blacks probobly the best thing he could do would be to completly reform drug policy because belive it or not drug laws are pretty much institutionalized racisim in the usa.

I have some doubts about the greatness of Obama. I'm not saying it's a bad thing he's president, but I fear he won't be the president people expect him to be. Things won't get fixed in the 1st month and they might not even be fixed in 4 years.

i stopped reading when you called me a blind obama supporter, i said b4 my vote for him was a vote to stop john McCain and i have been suspect and overly critical of every move he's made since it looked he might win and after he did win...i'll read everything else you typed later or not but its not going to change my opinion of his speech and since it is a speech its open to multiple interpretations so your "facts" may not be as concrete as you seem to think they are. Not to be offensive but it sounds like you're reading this all from somewhere else then making a paraphrased post, at the very least these don't sound like your own words.
