I'm thinking about buying a new screen for a media pc.
I'll basically use it to watch TV and series from bed, so it's not going to be more than 3m away.
Anyways, I have enough money to burn on basically any dimension, but I'm wondering if it's worth it.
I'm thinking of getting anything between 24" and 27". I know it's not really big, but a superbig screen just wouldn't fit in. And even though I got money to spend, I don't feel like spending it all so that's the range I am looking for.
The thing I'm wondering about is how much ~27" inch would benefit me, opposed to ~24".
I can get a 24" for somewhere near 200 euro's, a 27" would be about 400 euro. Is 3" really worth the 200 euro?
I'll be watching downloaded series and they usually don't come in too high quality so I'm thinking that if I buy a very big screen I'll literally be able to count the pixels.
But then again, if I buy a smaller screen, would I be able to see shit?
Can anyone tell me from experience if 4" is worth the extra money?
I haven't narrowed my list just yet so I'd love to hear some suggestions.

Try going to a local electronics store and check out the lcd's. You can get a feel for the size before you buy it.

Try get a built in HD Tuner, it's well worth it if it is closer or near 3 meters.
