I read the whole thing and it is really worth reading, you should try to get this point across the public here and people should actually listen so then people would have their lives.

Lol, concurred.
Good thing you overcame the addiction. Better late than never. Though you could go about video gaming with moderation, but hey you picked the better extreme.

Agreed.
Nobody's fault but your own that you got addicted to vidya games.
Exactly the point. People whom write these sort of posts, always think they're some god, whom invented the wheel, and everyone is in the same boat they are.
Wrong dude! You're the one whom finally found out he's messed up, don't put that label on the rest of us, how Farking dare you.

Indeed. I will willingly admit that I love games, and most of my free time is taken up by them. I do however spend time with friends, I go out, I don't let games interfere with work. A truly wise person, when it comes to life balance, is one that can find a balance with work, family, games, and friends all together.

this.
I've never had any problem in the past about gettin "addicted" to a game. I've been addicted to other things but lucky me that i live by myself and that made me build my priorities, and playing a game is the last of them in my free time.
That whole post about staying off the computer and going out with friends and then you say you met your girl friend on myspace... that totaly contradicts your whole post.
hm...i've never been the guy who's addicted. sure, i play games, but i also do my projects and finish my hw. i go down to my parents house every weekend to hang out wit them and snowboard. it's a good life =]
im glad some people realize that the money they spend on SRO is the same thing as burning up a dollar bill every minute.
No really, the people here who spend hundreds of dollars on this shit game, you'll look back when your 25 and realize it was all wasted money. Better to realize it now than never
