Instance Dungeon System for SRO?
I'm not exactly sure about this. I'll need some confirmation from those who play kSRO or cSRO. I just recall someone saying that in Chi'in tomb, you have to collect keys in order to open other areas.
Are these keys dropped by the uniques in the tomb?
Do these opened areas have uniques in them?
Do you have to do this repeatedly in order to reach Medusa?
If the answers to all of these is yes, then that's pretty much a dungeon system. Is it an instance? I'm not quite sure. If the player/party is the only one who can be in the tomb, then it's an instance. But again, I need confirmation from kSRO/cSRO players. Do you get to choose if you want to do an instance or not?
This also brings me to kSRO's Legend VIII where it's not much of a huge update compared to other Legends. They just added a handful of uniques and a small new map. In this Legend, as I heard, you have to kill these four harpy-looking uniques to summon Roc. Again, it sounds a lot like an instance, although this time, it's some kind of a keep instead of a dungeon.
Does kSRO/cSRO have such a system? I'm really curious. If Silkroad does have it, that's great news because this game is finally getting some end game content.
Maybe I'm just getting my hopes up for nothing.

Didn't read everything and im not sure with the info that im going to give you. Chin tomb you dont need to collect keys but 7th floor opens at specificate time for medusa only. And it isnt a "small map update" chin tomb is huge. The keys that you might heard of are from the lottery. I know somewhere in chin tomb there is place with big box that you click, accpet it as quest and monster appears. You get key from killing it, which you can exchange to items like from so-ok event but as I remember you can get elixirs also. Roc unique can be summoned after you get 7 keys from 7 different places in Rock mountain. Then you bring them to his nest and specificate amount of people gets teleported. Must be more than 1 party cause I saw way more people. I hope I helped you with my post..

So Chi'in tomb is out of it then. However, Roc's case is a bit closer. It's not a full instance though since, as you said, the players only get teleported just to fight Roc.

I suspect the instances and dungeons will come with the final cap, otherwise it isn't end-game content.

i know mobs do drop keys periodically in ch'ins tomb but they arent used for unlocking new parts or anything like that
from what i can tell there are a few different colors of keys (5 i think) and im not really sure what the different colors imply
but i know the keys are used on the floating treasure chests in the caves
(i assume the different colors imply what you get when you use the keys on the box ive seen people get items like elixirs or weapons from the boxes or just a few monsters spawn from it)
ive seen a video showing the keys before ill see if i can find it

Who knows? They made instances for euro (the Ivy and Cerb quests are in instances).

The key´s are not for open other areas.
In 4 room´s you finde a box and if you bring the key to the box you get monster, elixir, gold,.....

i mean instance or world boss , and the wowlike drop system is good, you always get some bullshit item to sell
