I opened up CS:S today, to play a couple rounds on office (WK6 for the win). So I open the server list, and click on favourites. I double click on the server and low and behold, VAC banned my Steam ID. I don't even have hacks on my computer, needless to say I am perplexed. I sent a message to their support team, as far as I know that's all I can do. Is there anything else to do?

mabye change your pass someone could have gotten on your steam and used a hack

VAC bans can't be reversed. You'll have to make a new steam account and buy the game again and that's the bottom line.

Wow, that really sucks, maybe a jerk at steam accidentally marked your account as hack, and they banned you for it.

Or, i believe there are admins and/or players that have reported you to get VAC banned, not sure is this possible, but i have heard people saying that they "reported" the hacker to get VAC banned.

yeah, i might of thought of that, but i am still wondering about people reporting him purposely or maybe even on accident.

I've had a lot of people saying they are going to report me. 99% of the time it's just 12 yr olds that got owned and want to whine about it.

I don't think user reports make the slight bit of difference.
