Help with Ecsro

hi i just got a new computer and i installed ecsro from silkroaddiciton.com and i downloaded the media from ecsro.net and then i put it in my folder and i try to start it and then it says i need direct x9.0b i installed direct x 9.0 and when i try to install direct x 9.0b it says that a newer version has been installed and i dont know where to uninstall the previous version so i can install 9.0b and btw i have windows vista home preimum edition someone please help me!

dont install it from sroaddictation install it from http://www.ecsro.net

Choose compatiblity winxp for the .exe, almost all vista users have this problem because they have directx v 10 and because ecsro is so old he cant "read" at compat winvista.

wha??? and umm ki downloaded the 5 parts form badango.com and now what do i do?

Select them, extract, then apply the newest media.pk2.

To start game right click on launcher->properties->compatibility->"run this program in compatiblity mode for: choose windows xp, ok, and start again launcher.

You should extract them onto your desktop, Copy and paste to wherever the file is.
