NOT A CATAPULT

While fully portable, that doesn't mean it's quick to put away.

With 300 lbs. alone, it's a 1 hour + setup, and 45 mins to take apart.

I would actually be able to donate the trebuchet to a military base, not for use in a war, which I may have accidentally implied :P , but for the army college near me. Physics maybe <,<?

Hmm, make a version that takes less time to set up and less time to disassemble. Wait, forgot about the tuning part... Just make a catapult bro.

That's awesome!!!!

When I was like 10 or 12 maybe, my dad and I made a little table top trebuchet, it was fun launching marbles and things like that :D

Now that i look at the pictures again thoes brackets look fairly small for the forces exerted on them. I know its made for portability...But isnt safety a factor. Or the pics may just not be doing justice.

There is a minimum safety factor of four throughout the whole trebuchet.

This means that, at a minimum, everything is being used to 1/4 of it's recommended capacity.

That number lowers to apprx. 3 as the weight is increased to the max.

Safety ftw <,<?

Maybe next time you should make ti so it looks like the font' it's been round the block a few times so it's cool, or make a catapult.

One of these days...

One too many a laxative will be ingested. And you will shi.t your bowels. Literally.

Otherwise, it's being rained on, it's going for that rustic look at the moment, it hasn't gone through it's gangster/hood phase yet. Chances are when I bring the trebuchet to a civil war reenactment, it will be shot. At that moment it will be "round the block" a few times. It will then be named tupac. RAHRHARHARHAH

Why haven't you made that catapult yet? You should use balsa wood, i heard it's good for making that kind of stuff.
