This is a 2 year old thread..that's what my post was referring too. Kinda neat he dug it up though.

My opinion: I don't care enough on matters like this to have an opinion really, but if I speak it I could be flamed. Ok, if you're not botting you're not botting. Taking advantage of the situation maybe?

In most servers it's hard to find share parties that don't have a bot or 4.

Unless your just sittin there letting em lvl you, you are still doing your part, lvling them up too.

Not to sound like i'm defending it, I don't wanna party with bots, but i'v found myself plenty of times looking for a share party there only being some with random ppl that included some others I knew for sure that botted. I didn't always join em, but still.

Bots in parties suck though anyway, they always do their own thing, whenever theres a pt giant or something, they are just goin around atking normal mobs.

Rofl, definatly NOT legit. Funny how half the people in this thread were banned for being botters. So no it is not legit. Being legit means grinding your main in a share party that every1 actively participates in. If you party with a bot, you might just as well bot yourself...

1 small problem with what you say. Go to roc mountain, go to grind on rocks or attackers. its close to IMPOSSIBLE to grind decently. The ONLY way to have a nice run is to join a share party! I am lvl 88, and I handgrinded my way to that. I am against botting. But 98% of the server is botting, you can't avoid it. I stay true to myself and I wont go afk in a share party (ok if I have to pee or get a drink quickly then i go afk for a minute). I consider myself legit, I do not use multi clients, I do not buy gold, I do not bot. But at some point you have no other way then to "abuse" botting parties because there are simply No full legit grind parties around.

So my opinion, going afk yourself for hours while in a share party with botters = not legit. Handgrinding and doing your part on the grindsession = legit.

It is close to legit but not legit. Players on Venus, grinding by hand 1->90 in active share parties, those are 100% legits

Grats for Venus. On other servers, legits aren't in charge, so we have to make due with what we have. If we see the chance to exploit a bot, we take it. Venus =/= all other servers.

Agreed. In fact not only is it like that on Xian, but legits won't even party you if you AREN'T a Euro! And THAT is what made Xian a toilet in my book and helped me to quit~

if you are killing as well such as wing tribe attack partys then its pretty fair imo. i mean sometime or another you will join a party with a bot in it unfortunatly. if you are killing as a party and they are just botting then so be it.

however going afk for any longer then toilet or drink is a BOT PLVL in which is not legit.

There's nothing you can really do about it. Are you going to boycot every single party if everyone in the party isn't legit? On older servers, there are more bots than legits, so it's either you don't party with anyone or you suck it up and deal with it.

Leeching from bots is theoretically not legit in my opinion because it's indirectly getting exp from a program. A lot of bot guilds have resorted to botting up one or two high level characters and then using that bot to plvl their people up, so there will be no chance of getting banned by JM.

I guess if you are putting your effort into the share pt you are ok, but I don't see why you would want to be in a pt with something that won't help or talk with you.

Powerlvl/leech is different then share party with bots.

If you just sit and do nothing then a program is still lvling for you, if you are in a pt lvling with them, it's not like they are lvling you like that.

here are my standars for "legitness"

if they bot then there asshole

if they use loader then there just stupid asses

if they get plvled by a bot there not to bad.
how ever i can see why you would make that connection.
however i still view being plvled this way to be "legit"
hell even i have stuff to do other than to lvl my self
and anyway most "legits" do get pfarmed for free at lvl 1-15
anyway im going offtrack a bit.

btw if you use multi client then your the biggest asshole in the game and you should be shot
