Not trying to start anything here, but that's not true. Steve Jobs said something similar when he released the iPod, but there were ways to bring alot of music with you that were smaller than the iPod. My brother had some weird player back in 2000 which was tiny, and though it used little disks or something similar, it was about half the size of the iPod, and each little disk could hold around 150 cd quality songs.

I have an iPod though so whatever.

dom your right ipod wasent first it was creative :p i even have a mp3 player from before ipod lol. i have the creative zen vision m and it beats all of yours ipod,zune,or any other company out there. only the new products kinda sucks but still better then an ipod. one thing about zune is aperantly in xna game studio 3.0 you can make games for it so its fun (like for the 360 too)
