Lol I played this game by hand from 1-90 and I've been through mugijis, penons, sonars, yetis and the rest. Bot powerlevel is not legit regardless of the situation. Hell I don't even know how Venus got mentioned here. This doesn't have shit all to do with Venus, it's common fucking sense.

I don't see anywhere where botting or flaming was brought up from anyone with "Venus" under their avatar.

It is legitimate but it's frowned upon especially if you haven't played the class before. Try partying with powerleveld tanks and clerics who haven't played these classes before and see how awesome the party turns out.

Of course, this is not to generally say that all who get powerleveld will always fail to learn their builds. There are smart players out there but there's not a lot of them. It's just easier to prevent powerleveling just to make sure players know their builds well.

Well this topic was started by a Venus player and posting that kind of topics always ends in flaming.

It's frowned upon on Venus because Venus has the confederation rules that were set up to protect a large community. Please just understand that other servers are different and have their own union rules that are not always the same as the confederation rules and stop extrapolating to other servers. This is annoying bots too, by trying to join them in a party they loose xp, sp and especially a part of the gold drops, so why is it not tolerated? If every gold bot on server would have 7 other players in a party with him to divide his precious gold and item drops it would start to be a problem for the company running them. They will need much more gold bots, much more players to babysit them, paying lots of silk for the grab pets and for not being banned and perhaps they would finally leave the game because their earnings aren't high enough.

I guess that next post will be a Venusian posting to blame me for bot support.

@Azilius As I stated, on Venus you may be strongly against this however you must understand that all the other servers are NOT like Venus.

On RedSea for example It is a huge rarity to see a low level party anywhere at all. All parties are 4 man bot parties OR plvl/taxi parties.

When you are faced with this it means you can go try to level like normal sure, but the key word here is TRY.

I try to plvl ppl at bunwhangs/mugiji/penon and it is truely a forgettable experience which ends in myself getting frustrated enough to call ppl to make a bot trap.

So, as I stated, although I do not condemn the idea, I do not approve of it either.

Realise that Venus is different and we all know it is different and do not need to be told that every single thread

We have the most sun/sos/som every single cap and back when the HUGE banlists would come out per server every week we had the largest one. Don't complain about bots when you don't play on Greece because it really doesn't get worse. (not including babel)

Have you recently started a new char on Greece? Have you tried to level it yourself with no powerlevel? if the answer is NO then you have no experience with the problem... sry..

Greece is an old server and I assume when you started to play it was the start of the server. Like any server that is new if you start from day 1 and can get ahead of the gold bots then you only have to fight for space with player bots.

But I am talking about servers now that are old servers with new players. If your a new player on the server and you actually level yourself by the time you get to 40+ you would be bald from pulling all your hair out.

All the leveling spots around hotan are the hardest to level at legit simply because it is the easiest town to quickly get to training spots and hence it has the most permanent gold bots.

I also cannot empathise with new chars on old servers, but I can sympathise with them hence why I say I do not approve of this but I do not condemn it either.
