Question about Berserk

What determines when you get berserk. On my warlock I get berserk like every 5 minutes. I get berserk to kill a giant and by the time I finsihed killing the giant I have berserk again (from killing the little things around it)

Sometiems I can get 4 berserk balls from 1 mob. I don't understand why warlocks get sooooo much berserk so..someone plesae explain.

This is not exactly related to Characters and Skills, it should be on Question and Answers I believe. Anyways, I think it's through the amount of hits you deal. Warlocks with DoT's deal a damn lot of hits, so they get berserk extremely fast.

Zerg has nothing to do with how much hits you deal. I played a 1H warrior, and i hit a mob about 7 times for it to die ( which is half of warlock's 12-hit DOT ) . I never once get 2 zerg balls from a mob.

As far as i know, you have a chance to have a zerg ball once you kill a mob. But the thing for warlock is, assume that your DOT hits 12 times, and it takes only 6 hit to kill a mob, then the remaning 6 DOT hits count as 6 additional kills - but it obviously does not give you exp though. Hence, zerg-accumulating-wise, you have 6 times the rate of zerg comparing to someone with the same number of mob kills in the same amount of time.

^ Your theory sounds better than mine . I always thought it was strange that warlock DoTs kept attacking even if the mob was already dead (I noticed when zerked iirc). By the way, it's raphaell, not raphaella .

Well, the number of hits theory isn't too good imo, because then bladers would get a lot of zerk too. I'm 70 atm, and I kill lv73 mobs in around 10 hits (2 chains+KD). I have absolutely no idea why warlocks get so much zerk, but probably has to do something with the DoT-s.

It's related to the number of hits you give on a monster, and warlocks give LOTS of hits on a monster.

As far as I could figure it out, everytime you hit a mob you have a chance to charge a zerk ball (the pink ones), so the more you hit mobs the higher the probability to get a new ball. Don't forget for warlocks, they have poisoning, burning and lots of other spells running at the same time and hitting the mob and that makes that warlocks are by far the best zerk regainers.

my newb warlock/cleric[just41 Now]gets Zerk every 1 min or Less
if u know how to grind it well u'll get Zerk Pretty fast , YouTube Ftw
btw till now i dont see any Fun@warlock only fun that i get zerk fast
but that DoTs get the zerk so fast , if u r Warlock and hit mobs with ur Baby nukes u'll never get zerk as fast as dots do,u'll get them like other chars
but i think that's not a bug for warlocks ...Those wizzards who deal 75k+ Per Hit with Fire/ice's/chin nuk3rs/crossBow/other chars 75k+ Per Hit with wont be fair if u compare with Toxin for Example
who will say the bladers not deal so much dmg as wiz do,bladers get enough Hp to tank alrdy
so it makes smth of balance ....

today i killed a party mob 2 lvl higher than me with zerked (i call i demon) and straight after i finished i had another right there that was very strange and i dont have any explenaition 4 that
