Pure Str GLAVIER Questions

i have a glavier lv50 with 500k sp.
which skill should i go? heuksal 90, fire 90, light 80, cold 30. or heuksal,fire,cold=90 30light?

and what should I wear? prot, garms or armors?
or any suggestion for pure str glavier build
and why?

Possible builds in my opinion:

• 90heuksal/90fire/90cold/30light
  High defense, not the best one for jobbing cause it lacks some speed and mobility. Probably the best one overall in 1vs1 pvping.
  
• 90heuksal/90fire/72cold/48light
  Less defense than the one above, but higher speed/mobility. Better than the above at jobbing but a little bit worse in some 1vs1 pvp situations. Less SP costly among these builds.
  
• 90heuksal/90fire/90light/30cold
  Probably the best one among these at jobbing cause of max speed/mobility. Prolly the worst one in some 1vs1 pvp situations because it lacks phy defense.

Any of these builds should go with garment for -20% mp consumption, +20% speed and high mag defense. Choose the build which fits your playing style/your needs.

maybe its better to go 90heuk, 90fire, 80light and 20cold. in that way I could prepare for 100cap which i will go 100heuk/fire, 80light, 20cold and wearing protector.
what do u think? any opinions??

Ehm, I somewhat lack experiance with glaive builds so you can probably disregard this, but one of the strongest glaivers on Zeus (AnarChaos) has 60 ice/light, he is hybrid however, but minorly so, I always thought that 90 fire/hueksal, 60 ice/light was quite an effective glaive build, at 100 I would drop light to 40 to raise fire and hueksal to 100.

you aren't lacking phy def. you're pure str.

your heuksal passive gives 2826 hp

90 light for full str is no needed ... U will dlvl it at 100 cap and there is slight diff between light 80 and light 90 ...

is this true? that if you are pure str u have higher phy def than pure int and vice versa to pure int?
cuz i can't find any guides about it. how can u have higher phy def? cuz of high phy balance?

really? based on my experience of playing of sro since closed beta to present i don't agree with the higher phy balance the higher the pht def. i dont think it works that way cuz i think its all about the protector u wear.

a pure str will have higher phy def than a pure int and a pure int will have higher mag def than a pure str

go 90glaive, fire, light for best overall performance to solo, grind, pvp

yeah, ice is cool & all for it's added phy.def, but think, if u meet another str char 1v1, chances are it's gonna be a drawn out battle anyway, & if u go up against more than 1 str char, chances are ur screwed anyway

light for added parry (sorta like a defence not just against 1 type of attack, but both phy/mag attks), convenient grass walking skills, phantom for escape/catch up, & mag.attk boost (yes it does boost some good amount of dmg even for a str char)

while for ice, all ur getting is more phy.def & s/s (which str can only bearably use up to 25% w/o mp running out)

& when/if lvl 100 cap should ever come, u can do 100glaive, 100fire, 80light, 20ice(for snow shield)...& still have most of light's pros & have that 20% ss, that u may use now & then when ur getting gang raped

& who just looks forward to 1v1 cape nowadays? it's all about working as a group & thieving, guarding, or taking a fortress for ur guild...cape battles are so boring & pointless (especially when ppl spam pills, vigors, etc nowadays)

90 Glaive/ 72 Light/ 48 Ice/ 90 Fire is a terrible build. Its what me and some of my friends have come to call the look cool build. You get the new ghost walk and the new ice buffs. But in reality the ice does absolutely nothing for you. 28 phy defense increase is not even noticeable. With attack rating of the opposing player you will see no difference between 48 Ice and 0 Ice and in the end you just wasted 48 slots for another skill tree.
If you have all that SP you should try Force 90 or Ice 90. Even 90 Light would be better.
