I don't like classes that rely on replenishment from foods/drinks. One thing I really like about my feral druid. All my forms use either rage or energy, and if I need a heal/rebuff, I easily have enough mana to heal all my hp + use any buffs.

So, i was online 5am realm time this morning when the presents became active (im just that cool you see) and i opened them on my main and all of my alts. I kept some of the bind on use pets for the 50 pets achievement and sold the duplicates i got. At 5:30am there were no others on the AH so i stuck them up for 750g each. I come back online this afternoon to find they have sold already and the AH is now flooded with them at 200-300g each with a couple up to 400-500g.

Score!

EDIT: just notice my sig thingy is weeks out of date! :O EDIT: fixed

Has anyone else gotten more than a usual amount of premades in battlegrounds lately? It seems every AB or WG I do is a premade.

I have no idea what you mean by premade. Explain please because once I get to mid/upper 3x I'm gonna try Arathi Highlands and/or Warsong Gulch.

When you normally enter a battleground (=BG) you enter it with people from different servers.
These servers are in your battlegroup, you will always fight with, and against, people from these realms.
Anyways, when you just join on your own you get a random group, a Pick Up Group (PUG).
Seeing as everyone is from different realms and not everyone is as experienced it sometimes is hard to work together properly to get the objectives as fast as possible.

T counter this, and basically steamroll the PUGs, people make premades. You gather experienced and/or wellgeared players (mostly experienced, wellgeared players) and form a raid of 10-15 man depending on the BG and you join the BG.
Now you're in a group of people who know what to do, everyone has a task and the goal is to own the PUG as fast as possible to get the most efficient rate of honor.
Winning a BG gets you honor(losing also, but less), reputation from that BG and marks. Previously marks were used to buy stuff, nowadays the only purpose of marks are to get one of each BG and then trade them in for honor.

When you're in a PUG facing a premade your team often decides to throw the towel in the ring which only adds to the efficiency of a premade.
Hence it sucks meeting a lot of premades when you're in the PUG.

Practically millionaire, for your level at least.
But I'm always dirtpoor.

At high level you'll need around 1k per gear set to get gems and enchants. Which is actually if you go for cheaper enchants/gems. If you're going for the best gems and best enchants it could go to 3k+ easily.

Earning gold can't be that hard to be honest, if you don't wanna spend hours doing mindless farming, you can do the dailies, provided you have done the pre quests. I stopped farming once I got my epic flying mount and have been doing dailies since. Currently earning 300-400G per day, you just have to spend some solid 2-3 hours on them and not get bored by it.

2-3 hours is pretty long honestly.
I always have enough gold to get by, but I'm not going to spend 3 hours doing the same shit each day. I did quite a few dailies on 70 and I have enough of them.

It always seems pretty gay farming for so long doing shit I don't enjoy. It's still a game which is just about fun so I tend to avoid everything I don't like.

I think you can get bearform already, so gogo get it.

Bearform is like warrior and uses rage. You get in combat and get hits and deal damage you get rage. The more rage the more damage you do.
It basically means you'll spend less time eating and drinking and faster levelling. You'll regen mana in bear and when you need health you heal yourself in normal form.

I suggest you go feral. Boomkin can be fun but I think feral is superior. (boomkin is the moonkin form you can get at level 50 in the Balance tree)

Feral Combat refers to the talent tree (under "N") Boomkin is a strategy/style I'm assuming. Moonkin is a form that druids can turn into. Every class has 3 trees they can learn, it's usually better to specialize in one tree, with maybe a few talents in other trees as well. When you hear someone say that they're xxxxx profession. The xxxxx is usually what talent tree they picked. For me, Feral Combat Druid.

I specialize in turning into beasties and fighting as them. Right now I have 4 forms. Bear is the first one you can get, and it simulates warriors/tanks. There's a cat form which is more dps oriented. My other 2 forms are traveling forms, I have a form for swimming faster, in that form, I also do not run out of air while in the water. I have what's called "travel form" which is just for running around faster (40% speed boost, mounts at level 30 give 60% boost which isn't all that much more really.)

Druids have a Restoration tree which is healing, and balance which is spell casting against enemies. One thing to remember though, is that even though you may specialize in a tree, you can still learn skills from other ones. I use Feral combat primarily, but I also have some buffs from Restoration and Balance, and heals/resurrections from Restoration tree.

TOloseGT wrote:somehow, i'm finding it really hard to find quests my level o.o

Make sure you doing chains? Maybe try checking other maps that are in your level range. Seeing as they have around 3 or 4 maps for every level range, shouldn't run out of quests. O_o

As you level you get talentpoints, sorta like silkroads skillpoints but you don't farm them.

Anyways, you can distribute these into 3 trees. Every class has different trees.
Your class, druid, has Balance (ranged magical DPS), Feral (melee physical DPS) and Restoration (ranged healing).
Your class is a hybrid class, which means it gets a slice of every cake.
It used to be so that because of this hybrids had lower damage but since WOTLK hybrids, and in particular Paladin, are doing great so no worries you'll become something that in the end is not good in anything.

So back to your class and Feral. Druid is a shapeshifter class. You can change forms and you'll get corresponding skills and stats.
Druid has Bearform (tank, works on rage, feral tree), catform (melee DPS, works on energy. Rogue-like, has stealth and stuns, feral tree) Moonkin/Boomkin (ranged magical DPS, balance tree) and tree form which is enhancement to restoration.
(+ things like travelform, flightform etc. They're self explanatory.)

Most of these forms are unlocked through class specific quests or just at the trainer. Go to your Druid trainer and he will have a quest or new skills to learn.

On a sidenote: boomkin and moonkin are, AFAIK, all the same. It's just a nickname.

edit: gah, mrjoey beat me.
Anyways, just wanted to clear something up from his post which I think was a mistake; joey referred to xxx profession as a talent tree, but a profession is something else.
You can go to a trainer and learn a profession. A profession is something you can do next to being a druid, for instance a leatherworker and a skinner. (Good combo btw)
I suggest you check into what you like most, but I can already advise you to NOT get Blacksmithing as a Druid since blacksmithing makes plate armor and other stuff which you can't wear. Tailoring also is a bad choice as it makes cloth and you wear leather.

Hey guys, I'm kind of new to WoW, dont know much and etc. Just looking for a good realm to join with nice players that would kindly help me out with some things, and also provide me with a little knowledge of the game. I'd also like to join a guild with vent if possible, because i get bored very easily, and like listening to people talking and laughing in vent.

Thanks :D
I have an xfire if you want to add me, its wowraven

Talk to some of you soon :D

A good start, as I heard, is to get one gathering profession like herbalism, skinning, mining. But since you (Crumpets), started out as a Night Elf, you should either take herbalism or skinning, as mineral ores are pretty much nonexistent in Teldrassil.
