Warcry instead of Dual Axe´s Sudden Twist?

Post by NeverNighTz »

Morning SRF-community :)
A friend of mine asked me to make a topic here because he isn´t sure about something with his Lv 84 Warrior/Rogue. He thinks, that it´s better to use Warcry instead of Dual Axe´s Sudden Twist, because Bleed can be piled and Warcry is a buff, so Warcry cant be pilled.
Plus, he is very lazy and poor atm, so he can´t buy Axes or LvL up them.

So, what do you guys think? Is Warcry beter for Warrior/Rogue or Dual Axe´s Sudden Twist?
I/We need your opinios :)

Thank you in adcance.
Greets, NeverNighTz.

Well if he can not afford axes he cant do to much to begin with.
Though, bleed is a lot better then warcry if you ask me.
as a bower, i easely kill pure 2hand people, though when they use axe it gets way harder :)

Afaik Bleed causes defense-decrease, not something like Impotent....
If he has money+SP for Axes, are they better then?

Yes, they are, since Warrior in 1v1 needs to switch weapons really really often, and recasting Warcry takes too much time

Really? He thought of using 2h & Dagger in PvP only. XBow for Unique´s a.s.o.
I don´t think that Warcry needs too much time there...

IMO he doesn't really need it if he's rogue sub. He got 2 kd weps and then the massive dmg from that combo on a kded opponent, another combo or prick afterwards and most opponents are dead.

Not really IMO...He'll be changing his weps alot and the dmg increase is not that big. Also if he does a triple swing on kd it does more than enough dmg, even without warcry.

Eh with warcry, you can only cast it once every 18 secs, so unless you have sun 2hand and decide to tank the whole way with only 2hand, then use warcry. If not, stick with sudden twist for stun and bleed effects. Even with pills, sudden twist tend to bleed quite often and you can use it once every 3 secs( pills only cure once every 18 secs). And the stun effects from dual axe is quite nice for warrior/rogue as well, if you know when to incorporate it into your attacks

Well your welcome,
And just 1 little thing more, i believe bleed also makes you recover your hp slower?

Good luck on it ^__^

you doubt what ;)? that i easely kill pure 2hands ?:P
if people only use 2-hand sword they cant kill, at all (unless they got a nice moon/sun)
what do you think a level 81 with a sun+7 2hand hits on me with a daredevil, if i have snow on and use my shield (which i always do when my enemy uses daredevil), not enough to kill me if he crits one out off 2 hits (which wont happen to often coz i have crit parry) and he wont land much daredevils either, coz i can always kb and without axes he wont stun 2 much :)

sudden twist would be better for bleed/stun...since ur sub is rogue i'm guessing u will use it eventually when enemy is kd...then again...that would mean switch b/w 2hand/axe/dagggers...

once you see daredevil, shoulndt you use kb arrows to eliminate the dmg fully?
or is using the shield and lowering dmg way better?
(don't have a high lv. bower so i dont know what is best to do ;d)

Actualy i do both :)
i click arrow combo and switch to shield at the same time ^^ you'll shoot the last 3 arrows with your shield equipped :)
Unless arrow combo is still on cooldown, then i just switch to shield instead ^^
And shield is not only to lower the damage, its to prevent critting aswell <3

Get to 90 then fight me.. I fight somewhat serious/jokingly.. you'll be very annoyed in how I pvp. I'll pull out shield then axes then 2h to knock you down.

Makes me sad no one wants axes for their looks, but rather bleed/stun. Booo. But Yeah bleed/stun can be more useful than warcry. Why? The stun is really useful if you don't have bless and want to land off daredevil. The only time I don't see a need to use the combo is if you have a sun weapon. It is completely pointless to switch over to even bleed.
