Guild Wars

Post by Barotix »

So my guild wars factions CD is so scratched up that it won't even install. Is there a way to get the files without buying the game again? The guild wars website only has an installation for the original guild wars (I think).

If you don't mind using a Torrent then you can use this. Its everything you need.

If you need only individual CD's then im sure you can find those as well.

Or you email the guild wars support team and see what they can do

Why Not. I can understand for cracked games. But since ANET distributes its game online then nothing wrong right?

You can just download the client from the website afaik. When I bought Nightfall and EotN, it was only about the serial code that came with it, I never had to install anything. I guess you just get the whole game, but the serials restrict you from going everywhere if you don't have the right key.

guildwars.com, you can download a small .exe client that will download the files from the server as you need them. With the exception of the first game, i've never used any CDs.

Probably already got it done, but this link > all other suggestions.

http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Command_line

Use the "-image" one. Best way to do that, is copy your guild wars launcher on desktop, rename the copy to something like "GWupdate" Run it, it'll update the whole game, then it closes the game, then just use your regular Guild Wars icon.
