Playstation home
Hey I just found out it got released today and immediately I went to go check it out. Upon downloading and installing, ready to go I noticed that I kept getting an error saying "you are not old enough to use PlayStation home." After looking online I found the solution was to go to the main account > account management, and then turn "ON" the content restriction. After doing that It finally let me on home. But then after i accepted terms of agreement and what not, it says initializing, and then "signing in". No matter how long I wait it never loads after signing in. Nothing happens, sometimes I get a message returned saying it timed out. So...
Im wondering is anyone else experiencing problems with it? I really wanna try it out, and im wondering if there's a way to make it work. Also tell any cool features you discovered about it.
*edit*.. apparently cant get in because servers are full and millions of people are all trying to get on at once. I hope by 2morrow I will be able to give it another go, and it works.

Re: Playstation home
I played it for a little bit before the error started happening.
Walked in a movie theater and watched a trailer for twilight..
Then I walked by a bench and saw some chess pieces, turns out you can sit down and play with someone lol. Can't wait to play it again tomorrow. There's bowling/arcade, and apparently you can even fly planes.

Re: Playstation home
The initial download was about 77mb. Then throughout the 'world' if you want to go to the mall or arcade, you'd have to wait a sec as it installs that area of the game. Takes like 10 seconds per 'area' though.
It reserves about 3gigs from your hd though.

Oh ok thanks.
I can't even update my Playstation just now, keeps getting internet error. Really annoying.
Is there another way to update it other than having to download the patch directly to the console?

I found a better way to update. Downloading on PC putting on USB and sticking it in PS3.
1mbps in Australian standards is far faster than most! Most struggle to get over 100kbps. I'm downloading the current patch at 80mbps and my net costs me $90 a month.

Re: Playstation home
I figured a way to get the patch, however there's no way to get PSHome without downloading it via the console to my knowledge and with my constant (80710723) Error that becomes a pain in the ass. I'll wait I guess.

For a console. Consoles are relative to games.
Its just the section name, but this board is for games/consoles in general.
