Go pure int , i have a warlock myself and thanks to the shield u have a lot more defense , while wizzards dont have .So u wont need str points .Especially since u only do mag dmg.
Trust me and just go full int..

If you are going hybrid then go 5:1 int, not below. That's my opinion. Or hold 85-90% mag balance with naked stats.

The warlock in the video isn't so bad. I'm surprised how he/she tanked a sun 2h with mediocre equipments -> http://www.rev6.com/player.asp?id=711293

Wish I didn't see as much bless fighting though. Starting off a pvp with bless is a turn off, I wanted to see how they would tank without getting hit only 200 damage tops. Sure there were situations where bless was off but meh.

And yeah what Veni said, 85-90% hybrid. There's also a search button out there to help you, and the character + skills section has like 5 similar topics on the first page -.-
Using search will help you more.

This really depends on the lvl of mob you are fighting. I have a lvl 24 lock that took me 9 hours to get to 24. if you fight mobs that are 2-3 lvls lower than you it is incredibly fast. I took my lock over to Jangan and did the white tiger skin quest (100 skins) in 25 minutes. You build zerk so fast that you are using it every 90 seconds or so. The trick is to know how to use the DOTs.

It's understandable in different ways. 5:1 means after 5 points in int, put 1 in str. But you can also take 5 lvls int then 1 lvl str.

as for the opinion thing, if ur going with cleric sub then go pure int otherwise go hybrid since cleric already gives u higher defence

5:1 means

(You can add only 3 points per level)

Lv.1 - Int , Int , Int
Lv.2 - Int , Int , Str
Lv.3 - Int , Int , Int
Lv.4 - Int , Int , Str

and so on ... meaning after every 5th Int, you put 1 Str.

and at 6:1 7:1 etc..

is it the same way?

Let me try to clear it up:
At 5:1 balance:
Adding every fifth int, one str; will get the same result as adding 5lvls of int and 1 lvl of str; or adding like 50 lvls of int and 10 lvl of str; or 75 lvls of int and 15 lvls of str. Its all the same. I mean, the results will be the same at the cap, they are just diferent ways of getting there.

5:1 just means a ratio of: every 5 int points :1 str.

So, if you add 15 int, (using 5:1) you will need to add 3 str, cause (15/5) x 1 = 3.

Another way to calculate: If you add 5 str, you will need to add then 25 int points, because: as 5int:1str, therefore 25int:5str (its kinda logical).

Do the same for any other ratio. I think thats it, I hope I didn't mess everything up. xD
