Cool trick I just noticed.

Cold wave attack series when used with lightning imbue splashes the frostbite, and since it's a 100% chance of frostbite, you can give the status instantly to 3 mobs at once with 100% chance. (as long as they are next to each other)

Cool no? This totally makes the series worthwhile now. I figured it out with my new character on Ares.


Anyone else ever discover a neat trick like this?

You can splash stun as well as a few other status's.

All status' can be splashed when using lightning.

Though I don't seem to see how it makes the Cold Wave Arrest series usefull (I think that's what it's called).

Yup lightning imbue + arrow combo + people standing nearby = multiple knock back
Figured out the imbue thing like 3 years ago when I noticed people getting burned status with light nuke.

yeah... i've been doing that non-stop at south smk on alps for the past weeks now. Just running around shooting balls of ice that explode in sparks. ^^

Lightning only transfer status (with time), not physical effect

lightning splashes any imbue.

lightning nukes may give burn (or frosbite/freeze) to the 2nd/3rd mob hit rather than the 1st one.
