World in Conflict - Now worth buying for multiplayer?

I just noticed it was released on steam yesterday for $26,99 - a reasonable price. I beat the single player campaign before but was never to play multiplayer. I was wondering if anything plays this and knows if there's a big online community, or if it has died off?

I used to play it during Beta phase and the online play was great, especially if you had a good mix of players and there was teamwork. I don't know if the community has died out now but online play was definitely worth it.

heh i bought the game when it just came out $50 grrrr >.>

it's fun, but pub games sucks, u gotta get in a decent clan that actually uses the VOIP in order to have some amazing teamwork (which is my definition of fun). unfortunately i never got into any of those clans so meh, don't play much nowadays.
