Phix wrote:Gap = Your Level Minus Highest Mastery

Lets say these are your skills,
Bicheon 12
Cold 11
Lightning 11
And your Level would be like 20

Since your Highest mastery (Bicheon) is level 12 it would be 20 Minus 12 Equals 8 <- is your gap.

The highest gap possible would be 9.

The higher your gap is, The LOWER the EXP per monster You gain, But the HIGHER the SPEXP per monster you gain.
Making gap 9 ideal for p0werfarming, i dont recommend any1 soloing to take a gap higher then 5 due to your skills being outdated by levels and you doing way less damage.

How to get more SP when getting p0werfarmed anywhere.

The idea is to get your party's average level below the monsters level you are getting p0werleveld at.

lets say you have a level 76 wizzard p0wereveling you Level 20 at ongs level 33/34

76+20=96 :2 = 48
your average level would slow down the sp farming precess now lets add a level 1 character to the part

76+20+1=97 :3 = 32.33 Your average level would be below the ongs level so you would get more SP per kill,

although you will have to add either more then 1 level 1 character or once your party goes up 2 levels, the level 1 would not affect this anymore and would only slow you down.

Hope this helps.

But what you made bold and colorful only applies up to a 9 gap. It doesn't make a difference after that.

Leaving ur mastery at 0 gives you more option later on when you're done with powerfarming.
For instance, you want to be warlock or glavie, bow light/fire but after watching few video and reading through few comments from ppl. Suddenly, you change your mind and want to change into cleric, warrior, wiz, or chinese force. :P
Leaving at Gap 9 doesn't make a much different.
Ong still 1 hit or 2 to kill you.
Also you can't really or want to solo farming Sp after go through the Farming at Ong experience.
Also wise to not increase your SP(Stat point) for easier delevel)

Guys i have a question:

is it true if the AVG Party level is lower than the mobs level you get more sp?

Because i been plvling my char at Huns i believe they are level 37, With my 72 xbow and my farming character is level 19-30 at most before i delvl him and my mastery is at 9. So am i not getting the full potential of Sxp? Should i add other lower level ppl to farm with me so the partys avg is lower then monster level? Or the extra people would cut it even more? I have been solo plvling it now i read something about avg level=more sxp and i feel like i been wasting extra time that i dont need to :banghead:

Please explain thanks.

I'll check soon does it matter are your masteries at lv.10, or 0 ...
I have my character with masteries on lv.10, and Idana has character with masteries on 0 ...

Just need to wait her to come back ... she's afk ...
We are getting plvled at ongs.

I'll post screenshots with exp gained soon.

Here we go... results are as I expected ...
Note: My noob has SP ticket on, but SP is not what we are watching anyway.

It might be fuzzy a bit, but if you take some time to look at it it will be understandable ...
Conclusion - 9 gap is the highest; 10 gap wont change your exp nor sp gained.

Note that Idana is one level below me, and from my experience exp doesnt change, we have to delevel at same time.

Yes, european.

Another proof is Nivlam ... there is no more than 9 gap...
If there were more than 9 gap, the SP would increase over time...
Meaning if I had 20 gap, I'd gain less exp, and same amount of SP, and it would take me more time to level up --> meaning for one level, I'd gain more SP - What is false!.

I think that the best way is to pay plvl for your self to desirable lvl with no gap (example: lvl 60 - mastery lvl 60. Do not lvlup the skills, only mastery. Gather 90 cursed hearths and, at desirable lvl, make a 9 gap...

Perfect. I can see what you're saying. 68 exp vs 64 exp. The difference is most likely that one level.

but if you're comparing experience, not SP, shouldn't it be 11 levels difference between your level and the mob level?

^I'm farming SP at ongs, and great exp & sp starts at lv.24, and ends at lv.27 ...
So I delevel to lv.22 and 50%, and level up till lv.26 and 99% ....

35k SP left so I can start level up :D

Re: SP farming clarification plz

Post by shadowclaw3 »

Okay according to this thread i took a leap, This is what i did:

First i had 9 Mastery and i plvl my lvl 19-30 then back to 19 at huns level 37 monster with a 72 xbow.

Now i am level 31 i put my mastery to 30 and will level my character to 40 then from then i will keep on lvling it to 40-48ish and delvl to 40, it will be a 9 gap again and it will be on sonars lvl 57 monster. Reason for making mastery to 30 is because i needed to lvl my character to 40 quickly cause it was to low lvl to get exp from such a high monster, well it got very little exp and sxp. So now at lvl 40 it will have 9 gap and on 57 monsters.

So according to this thread more than 9 gap does NOT slow your exp gaining, and Avg party level lower than Mob level INCREASES sp and exp. So what i did, was it for the better or for the worse?(slower or faster)

Another reason why im doing this is because now i actually get drops from sonars =D , hoping for those SoX!

Keep your mastery at lvl 30, lvl your character lvl till 40, move to ujigi/mujigis, lvl to 44/45. Then move to Sonars.
Sonars are lvl 57, so you get best spexp at lvl 47.
Y move at 44/45 since u only get good spexp at lvl 47? Cuz Sonar's spot is better and safer.
Don't bother lvling your mastery until you are done. U are pwrlvling anyways. U do not need the skills.
If you can, bring 2-3 lvl 1 noobs over to join your party. Euro only. It will boost your spexp gain by ALOT.

No.
The Character Earning the SP need to be 10 lvls lower than the mob. Plus/Minus.
Higher or lower than 10, u get less.
My Advice, Start at lvl 23 0% at Ongs if you're gonna do 3 hours.
The party average need to be lower than the mob to get more spexp.

If i were you, i 0 gap from 5 -10.
Then start to gap leaving mastery at 10.
Reason being that Ong has better spawn and the need to walk around on the noob is a hassle.

Low lvls in a party reduce party average. It increases the SP earned for the LVL 2X char.

Last time i did it was 6X + 22 + 1, the exp increased was good enough. Of course, the more the merrier.
I can get at least 45K SP in 3 hours with gold tic + sp tic with just 1 noob in pt.
U need to hav another lvl 1 standby tho. Cuz the 1st lvl 1 would hit lvl 7 pretty fast and u'll see a drastic reduction in SP gain as the noob lvl.
