Well forget downloading this game. I heard that Rockstar edited the game for illegal versions. In the first mission you they made sure you cant complete it. That's what I heard at least. Game, set, match, Rockstar wins.

Yeah, they said in an interview they did some nifty safety precautions. You'd miss out on vital content or soem crap. Not really bothered tho:

A) I won't be able to run it in a res aove 1024x768 .. so I cba.
B) I would never dload 13 GB of content just for a game >.> Rather buy then ( But refer to A) )

It's more realistic, which is pretty annoying at start, but you'll get used to it.

This game is the shit and I have no complaints about it, except the wardrobe. For a Russian immigrant gangster, they could have given him more suits and costumes. Hairstyles I can sacrifice at the cost of a tear, but still not having a white suit or a 3 quarter coat or even a long trenchcoat pisses me off.

This is next gen gaming, they could have implemented more customizing..

That video looks awesome, I love how they are able to have locked doors again, but unlike in GTA3, you can actually get into them by smashing the window, I like the helmet, and when you crash you fly out the windshield! Holy shit! That's badass!

I have San Andreas and it's one of the best games I've ever played, and this looks even better

Sadly, my computer has too bad of a graphics card so I won't be playing it on pc.

Unless it takes the same specs as SA, then I can play it no problem.

Sooooooo many people having problems with it on PC, I'm lucky to get 10-20 FPS, I knew I'd suffer only having AMD Athlon X2 Dual Core 5400+ 2.8ghz, 2GB RAM, Windows XP SP3 and an NVIDIA Geforce 8400 GS (512mb ram) but even that just makes the specs and It's totally unplayable. I've tried using the -norestriction command, Turning the imgame recorder that records the last 30 seconds off, putting all graphics to the minimum, turning on motion blur and upgrading my graphics card to the latest drivers and It's still running abysmal. It eats my full CPU and unless you're running a quad core, windows vista and 4gb ram+ I wouldn't buy it.

Because the patches will come. They will have to. I was planning on uninstalling until it was all fixed, until I installed the new drivers, I have the same gfx card as you apart from the fact that mines the mobile version and only has 128mb ram. Anyway, with the new drivers I can play almost seamlessly.

I used to be a PC gamer, but now I game on my xbox and PC. PC is definitely better for RTS and FPS, but sport and racing games are unmatched on a console. I love the GTA series, I actually bought my xbox when GTA came out just for that game. I appreciate why some people would rather get it on the PC, but a GTA game isn't a GTA game unless it's played with a controller.

I lolereded. To be able to put in a quad core, you would need a new motherboard. If your current mother board only holds 2GB ram, it's likely that it only supports AGP - which would mean that you would need a new graphics card too. An increase in ram, from 2 to 4, won't do anything really noticeable.
