Quest error tiger competition

I'm doing the second part of the tiger competition now and the quest is "in progress" however when I kill any type of tiger, they aren't added to quest completion (i killed like 20 tigers but the counter still says "tigers: (0)"). Thus I can never complete the quest. Has anybody ever experienced this before?

This usually happens when you have another quest running at the same time.
For some reason, one of the quests will take precedence, and you must finish that one first before you can finish the next one.

For instance, I had both the "adventurer's stone quest' and the 'sweeping stone ghost quest' active at the same time. If I remember correctly, I had to collect all of the adventurer's stones first. Once I'd completed that quest, then my counter for stone ghost's finally started to count down (even though I'd already been killing the beggar's for ages collecting the stones).

From reading your post, I'm willing to bet that you've got the 'tiger grinding tooth quest' active as well. If this is the case, then you'll have to collect all the teeth before you can finish the other quest.

I suspected something like that, cause I have the molar teeth quest running as well. Ill post if that was the case if im done with the molar teeth (which drop like $§&%"§%& slow).

If I remember correctly there's also a bug with that quest when you do it the second and third time. The bug is that your kills aren't counted...

If that's the case, just keep killing tigers. When you've killed enough, the quest message will become dark orange. When you finish, a dark orange 0 will pop up in the middle of your screen.

i would bet that it is the other quest you have going since it's got to do with the same mob. i just completed all three of the hunting ones last night and had no such bug, of course i was doing only it and no others.
