SP farming clarification plz
It's been 2yr's since I've played SRO, and I've practically forgotten everything about SP farming.
Ive read a few SP farming guilds, but I have no idea what their saying because i don't remember the terminology. So can someone please explain the basics of SP farming to me in plain English, and if you use any of the terminology please explain exactly what it is.
Thank you

Have your total player level be 9 levels higher than your highest mastery. Example, if your were a blader. lv20 bicheon mastery lv11.
These days, everyone does power leveling, which is when you have a high level kill monsters in a auto share experience party. This is done at ongs.
To do this, make a player, and leave skills at lv11. Join a ong taxi/plvl pt in the party matching (press E), and pay a high level like 50,000 gold to kill stuff for one hour while you sit there. once you hit level 27, have someone ressurect you repeatedly and just die a whole lot until your level 22. Join plvl until 27. Repeat.

Wouldn't 19-26 be better?

I mean once you hit 27, so you'd level through 26.
IDK what the very best is, but I know that thats an effective way.

Well you get more xp when you are 11-12 levels from ongs, ongs are level 33-34. so the best sp you will get is in lvl 21-23. But that is kinda short, plus higher levels give more sp per level. If the difference between your level and the mobs level is too big then you lose sp and xp.

Why not leave your mastery at level 0? Becuase u level way slower = Don't have to delevel so much and u still get same sp
So i say leave skills at 0 and level your guy to 28 then delvl him to like 22

Re: SP farming clarification plz
Gap = Your Level Minus Highest Mastery
Lets say these are your skills,
Bicheon 12
Cold 11
Lightning 11
And your Level would be like 20
Since your Highest mastery (Bicheon) is level 12 it would be 20 Minus 12 Equals 8 <- is your gap.
The highest gap possible would be 9.
The higher your gap is, The LOWER the EXP per monster You gain, But the HIGHER the SPEXP per monster you gain.
Making gap 9 ideal for p0werfarming, i dont recommend any1 soloing to take a gap higher then 5 due to your skills being outdated by levels and you doing way less damage.
How to get more SP when getting p0werfarmed anywhere.
The idea is to get your party's average level below the monsters level you are getting p0werleveld at.
lets say you have a level 76 wizzard p0wereveling you Level 20 at ongs level 33/34
76+20=96 :2 = 48
your average level would slow down the sp farming precess now lets add a level 1 character to the part
76+20+1=97 :3 = 32.33 Your average level would be below the ongs level so you would get more SP per kill,
although you will have to add either more then 1 level 1 character or once your party goes up 2 levels, the level 1 would not affect this anymore and would only slow you down.
Hope this helps.

Over 9 gap you get less exp but the same amount of SP. He's right about that, you'll only have to die less times.

Never heard about that and it is not logical. If you can have the same sp and less xp that makes more sp per level there fore more than 9gap ...

yes. The reason why people never consider 10 gap and over is that theres a huge drop in the exp you get.
It's the same reason why you can grind on green mobs but not on blue ones. For example in the bandit den, when SP farming, you can go straight from lvl 16 to 18 without delvling, but you can't do lvl 19 there because the bandits turn blue and you get 3x less exp/sp. When people see such sudden drops, they tend to believe they have just passed the limits.
Also, as farming at 10 gap was impossible before they introduced party mobs, because your skills were too low to actually grind efficiently, people just ignored any gaps over 9. Now it's different.

Thanks for the sig, izmeister

Even if you are right and people "never consider 10 gap and over is that theres a huge drop in the exp you get" it would still be known that it is possible to have over 9 gap. The game has been online for a very long time now, this kind of things should be well know.

Erm, dude, what you're saying there has no sense. First, you tried to quote me but the sentence you quoted doesn't match the beginning of your sentence. Secondly, you're telling me it's possible to do a gap 10+.. which is exactly what I was saying before, I only said most people don't consider it. You need to read before you post.

Secondly, you're telling me it's possible to do a gap 10+.. which is exactly what I was saying before, I only said most people don't consider it. You need to read before you post.
Let me explain this the simple way :
Let's say that you need 1000xp to level up.
You have 9 gap and monsters give you 10xp and 200sxp.
Then in one level you would get ((1000/10)*200)sxp or 20 000sxp for one level.
Now let's say that you have 10 gap. According to what i know every gap that is over 9 is considered as nine so you would get the same sxp per level and mob.
What you are saying is that if you have a gap bigger than 9 then you start making very little xp but still the same sp.
Let's say that you get 10 times less xp meaning 1xp per mob and the same sxp meaning 200sxp per mob.
For the same level you would get 200 000sxp. Meaning big win for all of us.
So what I am saying in my post where I did not read your answer and said the same thing as you is that it is bullsh*t this does not exist and if it did exist it would be KNOWN and USED A LOT. People spend a mad amount of time farming.
If you are oh so sure that it is true then show me a proof. Let the community of SRF learn something that they did not find in almost 4 years.

I seriously need to read that 3 times to get what you're saying. First you say it's been long now that everyone knows 10gap+ can be done... then you say it's been long that we know it doesnt exist... what the heck?
Why do you think people leave skills at lvl 12 to farm from lvl 21 to 26 on ongs... at lvl 26 it will eventually be a 15 gap... do you really think people are gonna keep a 9gap till lvl 26, and then delvl skills all the time they hit 26, along with delvling themselves? Maybe you fancy doing that, whatever for you.
It's not because you didn't knew you could go over 9gap, that it doesn't exist.

Repeat.
1) Mastery at 10 is best
2) Prices go to 100k or more
3) Dlvl in the 26-27 range is the best way.
Glad i could help.

Re: SP farming clarification plz
Sorry, one more. Going to 19 is best because mastery at 10 will be 9 gap.
