Int Bow EDIT Hybrid Bow - Please Discuss

Is it worth making a pure int bow? Can it survive in the long run?

Ok, I have been reading through some old guides and I have decided I want to have a 70:70 hybrid bow guide. It seeems that 70:70 hybrid bows are an excellent all-rounder. It can own pure int nukers and pure str builds are just a bit harder to kill. Pure str bladers seem to be the biggest enemy against 70:70 hybrid bows. Their shields can just deflect my criticals and other attacks.
Stats - From level 1 to 20 I will put all my stat points into int. From level 20 to 30 I wil put all my stat points into str. From level 30 and upwards I will try and get the 70:70 balance.
Skills - I think I will go for 90 pacheon, 90 fire and 90 lightning. Pacheon is obvious, I think. I chose fire because it has to strongest imbue and the buffs are sweet. I chose lightning for the speed. I think I will also select the nukes in both fire and lightning just to give me more attacks along with my pacheon skills.
For pacheon I will get every skill except the attacking hawks, autumn wind arrow and mind bow. Should I get mind bow?
For fire I will get every skill.
For lightning I will get piercing force, wind walk, concerntration, thunderbolt force and heaven's force.
All the skills mentioned above will cost 837,739 sp, that is without mind bow.
Armour - Armour during the early stages because I will be pure int up to level 20. Later on I will wear protector.
Other - I have two level 26 wolfs and one level 26 three footed bird waiting for me. I also I have a level 42 +3 sos bow waiting.

Please give me your opinions about this build. Any suggestion/s would be good. I really don't want to screw this up like my other characters.

Without snow you're dead, even with a rogue etc would still one shot you. Although pure int can be done with bow, STR or hybrid is the better option. That's just my opinion.

I've played with my friends's char, and it rocks! Int bowers grind sooo fast, and they pwn at pvp too, beleive or not but they do!

>.< you should have tried 11 more lvls... then you would get explosion arrow, strongbow and nukes... till 30 you have nothing but weak atacks

5-6 combos for the knockbacks + longer range (than nuke) do seem viable to me. int heavy hybrid or pure int archer would be something i wish i had the time to try.

I think bow does more dmg with some certain skills than spear.
Look at the strong bow series: a crazy 350% skill while most nukes are 300%
Saw a lvl 32+ full int bow do 2k dmg with strongbow and 1.5k with nukes.
Altho strong bow has a long casting time, it'll pwn as a huge damage shot to begin with.

Don't go pure. As Phaidra said, STR or hybrid is the better way to go. I'm experienced with hybrid bowers because well, I have one right now ^_^

Hybrid bowers do really good in PvP and PvE. In CTF the opposing team can't take me down unless it's 3v1 or more. I can 1-hit pure INTS my lvl if they don't use snow shield. If they do use it, Strongbow>>>(That lvl 49 skill, forgot the name :S)

Strongbow deals aroun 3k dmg, if that doesn't 1-hit them, your 2nd skill will. In CTF I usually get over 20 kills and die no more than 5 times ^_^

My friend is making a pure INT bower right and she's lvl 60, same as me. She said they're really good for PvE but not Pvp

Full int bow isn't worth it. You are missing the benefit of critical, so your damage will be lower than a spear full int nuker. At the same time your tanking ability is horrible. A bower should be full str or heavy str hybrid.

If you really want to make a full int bower tho, you must max ice since Snow Shield will be a must have.

Seems like a good choice but if you got 70:70 your crits will be weak. I have 95% phy and my crits do around an additional 75% whereas a pure str's crit does additional 100% damage . If you go 70:70 you're crits wouldn't really make a difference. Maybe they would deal 15%-20% additional damage.

I agree with CHIPS, 70:70 doesn't reach the maximum potential of a bower. Heavy hybrid is the way to go. Around 85%-90% naked.

Don't really know lol, but when I'm naked I have around 90%. And I went pure str till 30 and then 2:1 till 60.

Btw, instead of 90 light, try to go something like 80 light and lvl ice for the snow shield... 70:70 has enough mana to use atleast the 30% or 40%
