LCD TV vs CRT monitor
I am using my LCD tv as a computer and its resolution 1440 x 900 and my CRTs resolution is 1280x1024, would I be saving power using this as a monitor or does it cost more?

Re: LCD TV vs CRT monitor
but if I used the CRT I could have a TV and a computer monitor instead of a just 2 monitors....

Re: LCD TV vs CRT monitor
I think if u use the CRT, you would be using more power other than using a LCD.

a CRT has a huge ass cathode ray guns shooting shit to your face and suck up a lot of power. an LCD only has a flourscent light bulb. so it's obvious which use less power for the same size.

ray guns ftw
LCD TV are not created for close up view like a LCD Monitor. You might mess up your eye sight if your sitting in front of a LCD TV as a monitor.

Re: LCD TV vs CRT monitor
ok new question, with the TV as my computer can I have both the VGA and a PlayStation 3 plugged into it at the same time. So I could stall in Silkroad and then change the channel to play PS3? Or would that not work?
