Well... isnt there a thing, that you could used "!" and some other symbols before on pet's name?
Until they nerfed it... maybe you could do the same with grant names?; maybe he got his name with alt+characters before?

It is ascii codes but i think you need a pk2 edit to change it in game. Just like you needed a pk2 to make [GM]_____ <- [insert name here] characters back in the day. Maybe they just didn't fix the grant names.
