im at rocky(one of hardest places to drop apprently) and im getting more drops that at generals

Yeap, it is true that D8 drop less than D7.

For people saying that at high levels they don't have enough gold from grinding I would not agree. From personal experience I leveled up from 1-80 without buying gold or trading (just a couple of times when I was a lowbie) and still managed to buy pots and have a nice set (+3 and +4 that is). For 80-90 I started stalling, so I wouldn't know if gold is enough from 80-90 from just grinding, but I would say it should be enough.

Also making gold in SRO isn't rocket science; it's easy, all you have to do is know what to sell and when to sell it. When* is the key, because at certain times you can sell a specific item for more gold than in other times.

Generally, grinding on slightly higher or same level mobs means you lose money or break even. And there is no way you can come up with 100m+ (per item) for the kind of gear you need for your chinese shit char to not get completely raped by any simliar level euro with npc gear.

The only way to really "make" money, is to pimp decent stuff and hope some gold buyer is dumb enough to pay 30m for it.

I do stall. Problem is ... if you don't get much drops, there aint any to stall.

yep, i hardly get drops at all, you can also try to buy cheap +5 weps without anything else (if your good at making blues/stats) and resell. or buy d6 npc stuff and break them for earth/water 6 etc (i made 100m like that when i started over with 5m >.<)
there are enough chances for which you dont have to get drops yourself

No one is "good" at making blues. It's random and will fail in some way more often than not.
