Shout Series or Cut Series? I'm a pure int S/S

Hey guys, I was wondering which of these series should I max out, since I don't want to farm extra SP to max both of them. I'm current a pure int S/S nuker. I'm deciding weather I should max the cut series or the shout series. Because in PVP, would it be better to use the cuts to kill a euro wizard or would it be better to use shouts to kill them before they kill me? Does any pure int S/S out there have a suggestion if you guys maxed both of these series? Thanks in advance.

Shouts would be better for pure int, because they deal mag damage while soul cut doesnt. You can deal more damage in one hit with shouts. They also shoot faster.

at higher lvl the cuts do well, you get 2 multi hits that do a lot of dmg with imbue. get the shouts too, since they are fast and great for lvling. nukeshouting ppl is fun if you know it will take them out lol

Get both, due to the speed of the skills you can chain them together, eg: cut quickly followed by shout, at 73 each cut was doing about 2-3k on an opponent in ctf on average, making 4-6k+3-4k from shout for about 9k in about 2 seconds, also when grinding they work very well, training at Mages I can take as much as 2/3 off a Mage's hp with this combo.
But if you have to chose go for the cuts since they do more dmg and hit twice, they are only slightly slower then shout and are very good against fast targets that have low defense/hp eg: rogues, wizards.
EDIT: Dont forget that smthing like 87% of your dmg from phy attacks is from your imbue anyway.

If you have enough sp just get both, i bet you can find use for both series

Do you honestly want to get enough sp for both? The shouts have AOE which makes them good if you want to be hunter or something but the cuts do more dmg. pick one

i got them both cut does crit alot my weapon got 13 crit so mostly it higher damage then shout

Shouts for both, in pve you can nuke+shout every mob to kill and in pvp nuke+nuke+shout+shout is good for dealing quick damage while nukes recharge. Plus, shout are very good for powerlvling.

I'm very sp sensitive because farming loads of sp for every other skill is very boring for me.

My previous sword character had lvl 1 soul cut and shouts that are lagging abt 15 levels behind my light nukes. lvl 1 soul cut saves lots of MP usage and it's really good as a finisher. Had i gone on to caps with this character, i'd max shouts and keep any sp left for 100caps, lol.

Soul cut is for str bladers, lion shout for s/s nukers. Then you can use both if you want.
