It is a fact for the simple reason that most of you so called venus legits start to bark as dogs whenever someone says something which isn't same as your opinion. Hell i wouldn't even be surprised if some of you would jump of a bridge if your lovely leaders would say to do so.

What makes you think that I PERSONALY am a "so called venus legit"? Where do you see me "barking as a dog"? I am much more respectful to all the people here than you.

I accept that you have a different view on our Confederation what i do not respect is the fact that you insult us because you have a different view. I am at a loss of words here. It is just pointless to argue with someone that does not listen.

As for you; what proof do you have? Because Nightbloom botted two years ago the confederation is run by closet botters? Your theory sounds nice, but thankfully in practice it doesn't work that way. The confederation as I stated in this thread several times has no central power. Do yourself a favor and read all 16 pages.

Guthix pretty much said everything. As for proof, then i'll say it again once a cheater, always a cheater.

Anyway, this thread isn't going anywhere, people will always share different opinions and disagree with each other. So i would advice to lock it to end it all. For now atleast.

Barotix, I would like to see this person banned for 7 days just as T3DDY was banned for accusing without sufficient proof. I see absolutely no screenshots, admittances, or videos proving that nightbloom or any other member of the Confederation on Venus are botting within this post. There are several people who have come to Venus and were botters once, they have gained their level legitimately, and deserve to be respected rather then these slanderous statements thrown around. In all fairness, as T3DDY directly accused Silo of currently botting and was banned for 7 days, it would be fair for Blyth, and everyone else in this thread that has accused anyone of botting without the sufficient proof within the last 90 days, to be banned accordingly.

@Guthix: I still have not the patience to pick apart your posts. I dislike you greatly, and most other people do as well. If that is me flaming you, then so be it. The fact that you were part of Avalon and were completely happy with everything that went on in Avalon until your friend was banned should be proof enough that you are one of those types who gets on with the winning team simply because they are winning. If you were so opposed to Avalon and our supposed tyrannical hold on BHA of Venus, you would leave SuddenDeath and join up with the bot guilds to show us how much better "freedom" is over the rules we have set down. That being said, you are still a douche, and we all know it. <3

Last time Ill say this on the nb issue... nb didnt bot 2 years ago. She said she botted to 48 on el dorado which opened 11/28/2006 i believe. So when it was recorded it was after the fact. God only knows how long this was made after the el dorado incident. Secondly, since she even said, Ive been blah blah blah since I started gaming basically. That leads me to belive that she botted on Xian as all people are saying. there fore, should she not delete that char, if she is this hardcore legit now. Should not everyone who was a part of ThEmpire delete all their accounts? I mean, if you wanna turn over a new leaf, im all for it. but dont leave the char there, and get on every "once " and a while.

Yes the rules are silly( reffering to the 40+ rule) but if you dont like being treated like shit, might as well leave to another server. Cause even if you are legit, if you dont join the confed you are basically labeled as a bot.

Silo contributes a fare bit to the community, those who simply linger around the General Discussion may not realise the contributions in other parts of the forum.

You're saying that because Silo's opinion is different to that of some or most in this thread that they should be banned for being a constant problem.

• Constant: Doesn't change, Always the same, Does not vary.
• Problem: A difficulty which has to be solved.

We put them together and we have a difficulty which can not be solved and does not vary.

That in my opinion, because Silo's opinion, in one thread opposes your does not make him a constant problem.

@AngloKnight - From this thread we, as in people who do not play Venus have established what is meant by having a confederation in an mmorpg, something which is unheard of in most of the other servers. We have established and understood the rules of the server. No; I have not read every single post on all 14 pages, and yes I think this thread is going rather off topic, however it can not be too bad if it isn't locked by a Moderator.

How does NB's chars on other servers effect Venus at all?

And about the whole "Avalon being the core of most parties" I've yet to party with an Avalonian *OR very rarely if ever* Most people I party with are from BHA, Fabel or Blade. We are not "dependent" upon Avalon to make a party work. We do just fine outselves . Second, People keep acting like we're all brainwashed by Avalon. We're not. If Avalon was to do something stupid I'd call them out on it. I don't care if they own the Fortress it doesn't matter to me, their people just like I am.

I even got blacklisted due to breaking the confeds rules. Rerolled and now I'm an active lvl 50 char who fully supports the Confederation. Could I have become bitter and angry at my blacklistment *Eh?* Sure. But after thinking about it and living as a member of the Venus legits community I now fully understand why the rules are there. I could spout off the reasons for the rules but you'll never fully understand what I mean until you experience Venus for your self. *It's like trying to tell a dog what color is*
You should give Venus a try and figure it out for yourself. Who know's you may even like it

I got around 5 pages into it, it just seemed like the same argument going around and around. Got a few points to make though.

Joymax braking their own tos, making the game non legit and by that all who play it are non legit too. END.

So going by your logic is joymax's fault people bot and joymax is forcing people to be illegit?

The players created a want for bots. The want for bots got filled and players started botting. Joymax banned bots when it was economically fit to do so. More and more players started botting until joymax stopped banning bots. It was never joymax's fault, it was the players fault for botting to begin with. Due to their own selfish greed people got lazy and botted. How can you blame joymax for that? But i guess its natural instinct to blame your problems on someone else

Some ppl are very good friends in the game. But one has given up and turned into bot. By respecting that rule, the friendship is broken.

When i played on greece for about a year i was in a botting union. About 95 people of people botted and i was probably the only legit in it. While i watched people fly ahead of me in levels i struggled along in my 30's and 40's, hand grinding the whole time. But despite my guildies botting, despite their openness about it, they were still great people. I was a legit in a botting-heavy union and still had fun talking to my friends. They may have botted but i didn't quite care at the time. When joymax banned them they would get what they deserve. Just because they chose to bot it didn't mean i would hate them. Hell some of the people in that union are my closest friends, to this very day as well.

Even now when my days of greece are long gone and i call venus my home, i still remain friends with those people on greece. Most of them have made the change to venus and are now legits. But even if they left venus and kept botting on greece it wouldn't bother me, they are still my friends. If they decide to bot on venus i will still be their friends. I will kick them from my guild since my guild is legit, but nothing will stop me from talking to them. I wont party with them, i wont interact with them on a gameplay level to uphold the rules of the confederation but i will continue being friends with them until the day i die.

I guess the rule is a general deterrent, right? To stop people from being tempted? But then again if someone bots its due to a weakness in willpower, not because someone influenced them to do it.

Oh well.

I enjoy venus, im having fun partying and managing my guild with iseedeadpeople. I accept the rules of the confederation and thus i abide by them. If i didn't like them, then why would i choose to come to venus? Once you experience the fun that the confederacy can brought to SRO you wouldn't mock it anymore.

3]It cut down most rumors and misconceptions.

1. Myth: Avalon controls the confederation.
   
   • Avalon does not control the confederation. There are four unions(32 guilds), 20 guilds (non-union), and multiple white listed individuals. Each guild has two senators and the senators represent the views of their guild members. The confederation is a lawful medium of communication.
     
     • Why was the confederation created? It was created because there was a lack of communication between the two primary unions (at the time of the creation of the confederation there were only two big Unions. Later OVK [Overkill] and BLD [Brethren of the Blade] would join the confederation. Each union [AVA (Avalon), and The BHA (The Blackhand Alliance)] had similar rules but this did not dispel drama. Both unions had rules against partying with illegitimate players before the confederation; the several leaders of The BHA and AVA saw that there was drama and hate between the two so they sought to eliminate it. They created the confederacy for the following reasons.
       
       1. Communication
          
          • Both Unions were receiving mixed messages; it was basically, "he said-she said Bullshit."
       2. Ease of Leveling for lower levels
          
          • Lower levels didn't know who was legit and not. At the time [before the confederation] people were not allowed to party with illegitimate guilds because it was considered bot support. So the confederacy became a "storage area" for a list of legit and illegitimate guilds.
       3. Efficiency in PvP and p-grinding
          
          • No bot p-lvl was just an extension of no bot support.

One more thing: If you are over 40 you can be white listed as a guild less individual.
