Getting plvled by a botting bot who botted his way to 90 is pretty much the same as simply botting your own char.
Plus, plvl creates lazy and poor ppl.
Also, where do low level people get money to get plvled ? you guessed right...gold buying.

And about FW, we've had epic ones where the 300 max was reached, but bots gave up due to the fact that they couldnt have uncaped clerics and outside buffers

I run a guild in a union who belongs to the Confed. as well. Does the confederation dictate what I do with my guild? No. Does the union I so happen to be in dictate what I do with my guild? No. Do I force confed. rules upon my guild members? No-they all agreed before joining the guild to the rules setup for the guild; it doesn't take a genius to know if you don't follow the rules setup from any organization that there'll be consequences if you agreed to follow them beforehand.

Do some people take this too seriously? FCK YES! However, they play how they want, and I'll play how I want; whatever they want to do with their free time doesn't affect me at all. The day this game stops being fun for me is the day I'll stop. So far, it hasn't stopped being fun for me.

Those rules are set up not only for respect of Joymax's TOS but are also twisted in such a way that players that don't agree with the rules are kept out of Venus. Sounds a bit harsh to me because you don't only remove the fun for playing from the bots but also from legits. Those rules are not only for protecting the legit players on Venus but a part of them is for protecting the Confederation so just a part of the legits on Venus.

Far from it: Fact, if you're legit and above level 40 chances are you would have made at least one friend in a legit guild along the way. When approached by confederation legits simply have your friend vouch for you; once that happens request that your friend starts the whitelisting process. Legits above 40 can easily be whitelisted. This a precaution so legits don't have to run around and spy on people. The best way to be whitelisted and avoid this rule is to have a well-known legit vouch for you. That rule was a recent addition and as I posted earlier they are there to protect the legits.

What guild leader in their right mind would not ask his members if they agree with the rules. As I said; ignore the institutional aspect of the confederation. Fact* whenever someone joins a guild the first thing they are usually told are the rules of the guild. If the person disagrees with the rules they usually quit the guild. This is not a difficult concept to understand. Another fact* Most members don't really give a shit so long as they get to play the game and have a party with legits. I know I didn't give two craps when I was Avalon, or BHA. I was Chinese in BLD so the rules didn't effect me.

None of our rules state you must pk guildless players. This is a rumor started by you. As for that; listen to this scenario. Player A bots to 70 then suddenly says "I'm legit now!" And joins a legit guild then grinds to 90. Do you know how bad that looks for the guild? The rules are like test. If someone wants to be part of a confederation guild badly enough then the rules won't really bother them especially in practice. I notice you post in theory a lot, but in practice most people don't notice the rules.

The miserable list and blacklist are two entirely different things. People only get blacklisted when they break the rules multiple times; individuals aren't blacklist, guilds are. It shouldn't be difficult for an individual to leave a non-blacklisted guild and get whiteliste so he can enjoy the benefits we give one another. The miserable list is just some contraption SRA came up with that prevented SRA members from viewing the SRA forums. It has nothing to do with Venus or the confederation.

Actually when you join by the time you reach 3x maybe even 2x the last thing on your mind is "the rules." the only thing you care about is your next party, your next level, the newest drama, etc [i.e.] you start to forget about the rules and remember it's all for fun.

Well actually the way the confederation functions is like a republic run by grassroots democracy (bottom-up). You think one day SG just wakes up and says: Today I shall make a new rule! No, of course not. Usually there's some QQing from members like myself here and there. Once the majority of the guild starts QQing SG is all like: It is time to hear my guildies!

Please qualify what a "shitty server like venus" is. I learned about SRO around Jan 2007 so I joined Sparta, not realizing how the SRO experience would be, I did my best to level to 41, being an SRF member I learned about Venus so I joined last Feb 2008, and after 7 months of "casual" playing I was able to level to 67...

And all the time it was not the rules I was trying to comprehend but the experience...I 'liked' SRO at first but what made me stay was the community...and yea the community in Venus, and never have I felt that someone dictated something to me, for me, Venus was the total SRO experience...

You are right Ping, some of us are problems, but I have gone through and answered the questions presented to me in a very professional way. There is nothing that states that we must follow the rules, just like all the rest have said. Most people join with the idea that the legit way is the best way. In an attempt to help govern that, we have set up a group of rules that everyone that originally joined the server agreed upon. Everyone that has joined since the rules were made, came and agreed with them. If they disagree, that is their own thing, but per the rules that were agreed upon, none of the Confederation can or will party with those that did not. That is our prerogative. You can still join the server and do w/e you want, and we won't pk you. I haven't pked anyone but a retard tank (who is legit) but wouldn't keep his damn mouth shut.

Silo quoted rules 3, 5, and 6. If anyone had actually gone to read the rules, you would learn that these rules were to help discourage botters. If they want to interact with the legits, they too would need to be legit. That may or may not force them to reroll, whatever needs to be done, and ultimately you shouldn't be botting to begin with, so who cares if we decide not to party with, sell item-mall items to, or decline buffing them?

8. New Players are allowed to party with anyone who is guildless or who is in a guild that does not have a guild or union emblem under level 40. Starting at mujigis and up(lvl 40+), all share parties must be 100% legit confederation approved guilds. This goes for both euro and chinese players.

Silo quoted the rule incorrectly. As you see, we allow guildess or unionless people to join legit parties up until level 40. The reason for this is that at 40, they should know about the legit community. If they decide they wish to stay a part of it, then they should probably get whitelisted so they can continue to party. If they decide otherwise, then that is there prerogative, and they can do that. Our Confederation of Unions just won't party with that person anymore.

I don't know what kept you endure these rules, but seriously this is not different than a dictator government. All your acts are under their control and you have to ask them every time you want to do smt. Game is the freedom, when you can't do smt in real life, you'll realize that in game you can do whatever you want (and face the consequence). Guild is not an obligation. If they don't want you in guild, you can quit. Ppl who're "scared to banned" are just childish. Especially Fly/NB can't ever control me I'll let them know that their guild need me, not I need their guild Honestly, it's because of these kind of legit that it gives other legits more despair than hope.

Firstly, a dictatorship, as defined by dictionary.com is a country, government, or the form of government in which absolute power is exercised by a dictator. Neither Fly nor nightbloom are leaders of the Confederation. Fly is the leader of Avalon, and has say over Avalon's union. There are several senators that govern over the Confederation, and they are each from different guilds, in different unions.

Secondly, the game is freedom. You have every right to choose how you play the game, and those who chose to play under our rules used their freedom to choose that path. The ones who chose to bot or otherwise used their freedom to choose that. They face the consequences of choosing that path daily when they try to enter our parties, and are denied. Again, it is our freedom of choice to deny them, and their freedom of choice to continue to play the way they are.

There is no law or rule or w/e that states that you must join a legit guild to play on the server, and certainly nothing stating that you will be pked if you do not. However, again, I will use the word freedom here, we use our freedom to deny partying with those that are not on our whitelist. We cannot and do not force anyone to do anything. If anyone chooses to party with illegit people, that is their choice, and we allow them to make it. We just choose to deny them from partying with us.

Finally, neither nightbloom or Fly control me. I am not a puppet. I grew up years ago, and have been able to make my own decisions and wipe my own ass for some time. I choose to follow those rules that I helped to create, and I choose to follow their rule and example that they put down when they first started on the server.

Now again, I personally invite all of you to join Venus, come see why we think we are the best.

1) There are no rules that obligates players on venus to join the confederation.
2) There are no rules that forbids a confederated player from leaving the confederation.


Theres PLENTY of non-whitelisted "legits". We don't make their "life a living hell", we just ignore them. They don't party with us, we don't party with them. When we catch them in a bot plvl, sure we'll kill em, but thats about it. If they are handgrinding, we just let them be.

Who forced them? Surely not the confederation. You still see the confederation as an omnipotent entity rather than an institution powered by multiple individuals. If you want to party with botters and legits on Venus then do so; no-one will stop you, but know this my guild and union won't party with you. You want to force us to party with you despite the fact that we don't want to? BTW; you can sell stuff to anyone you want. You can buff anyone you want, job war with anyone, and talk to anyone, but every institution/organization has consequences. When you realize the confederation is nothing more than an extended Union you will see little error in our anti-bot support rules. I'm sure if a single Union had these rules you wouldn't complain.

That is simply not true; you are free to kill legit trades as often as you want. There are no consequences. Joymax designed the game to be Legits VS Legits. Name one confederation rule that prevents competition among legits.

Theory? What theory, Silo. It was tried on Hera; ask them how they're doing. It was tried on Odin; last I checked it's no longer a legit server for legits. People did try your method for nearly 2 years and now we have a game infested with cheaters. Is that what you want silo? A server that slowly turns into a botter's paradise. You want to know how "awesome" a bot server is? Buy a premium and log into Babel. If cheating is against the rules you really expect us to want to play with them?
