And what PureStr said, you do NOT have to join the confederation. You can play with bots if you want. But then have fun attempting to level. A euro would simply NEVER get to 90 without being in the confed. But its your choice.

Also, Fly is right. You do not even realize the rules after a little bit. I've been in the confederation since lvl 16...on crabs. I have partied with ONLY legits since level 4, yes level 4. (All the new people I met eventually joined legit guilds). Not ONCE have I grinded with anyone not in a legit guild. It's not hard to follow. There are 100 times the benefits then the losses. I can't think of a single guild who has willingly left us. In fact, some of the botters go to rediculous lengths to get IN the confed.

By the way, some of you dimwits need to realize THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AVALON AND THE CONFEDERATION Avalon is ONE union. The confederation is FOUR unions, and about 15 other seperate guilds. Avalon is NOT in charge. It's been said way to many times, get it through your thick skulls.

@ping_lo. The reason for that is because venus players join in waves, the last "wave" was the 3rd group of overkill. For a while now its simply been a small stream of players. When I first started I had well over 100 new legits to play with, there were parties starting from bears on every single mob all the way to chasers. Once you get to penons, you'll have parties on penons, pegs, gaurds, generals and up. It's a rough ride to fourty, after that your driving a cadillac.

And to all of you little anti-venus shits out there. Before you say ANYTHING ELSE, play on the server, give it 3 hours. Check out sam south, check out roc mountain, check out hotan, const, etc etc etc. And you will realize, you guys made yourself look like retards. I absolutely HATED the venus people before. But I hadn't played on the server before, and I really regret saying what I had said, cuz I was stupid. After about an hour I decided I was staying. I'm pretty sure crumpets as well (Correct me if I'm wrong) is not the biggest fan of NB or Fly, but as shown in this topic even he can see the reasoning behind all of this.

How? If you can't explain yourself, its just a baseless opinion. Every rule has a PURPOSE. We can deal with a bunch of whiny kids from other servers to accomplish that purpose. In fact, you can whine all you want. You can come to Venus, join a bot guild and get raped if you want. In the end, this server will be legit and you'll be running back to your bot server. I have a thought: Instead of "gtfo" of every Venus-related thread, why not state "Come to Venus, throw away your bot time, be legit with us, and enjoy the game as it's meant to be played"?

The continued negativity on both sides is annoying, but Venus people could rise above and choose to be friendly...I remember when I tried Venus, I joined BHA (the union, don't remember what guild) and I think Non Ego Man gave me 500k in gold to get me started. I took Chinese and managed to get to 26 or so before it got boring (yes, I prefer Euro). He didn't have to do that, but he did...took a chance.

In any case, I'm not pointing fingers at anyone specific, because humans are emotional, and the legits want to keep what they've worked so hard to get.

If I ever go back to Venus, it'd have to be full-time, because there were a lot of people in Constantinople last I was on my lvl 10 cleric

I publicly invite everyone in this thread, that is bashing on our legit community, to come to Venus. We will help you out, as long as you play by the rules, and then you can make your judgments. As Crumpets said, he was surprised to see that people were playing, and having fun, and communicating; not just lying dead on the ground. Make a guild, level it up, and see how much more fun it is to play the game the way it was meant to be played.

nightbloom being banned on this forum does not weaken the Confederation even slightly. We have always said that the past is past, and what happened on another server in no way affects what happens on Venus. There are many ex-botters that have rolled legit characters and played legitly, as far as we can tell from 0 to wherever they are today.

As far as calling her the leader, you are far from the truth. She is not our leader, the Confederation doesn't have a single leader. Although on SRF it is made out to be this dictatorship where the evil nightbloom has a tight grip on a leash that is only so long, Avalon is vastly different then that.

I wanted to add that I joined Venus for the same reason. Troy became unappealing because everyone bots, everyone is very open about botting, and it came to the point where when I logged on, I would see my friends running around, but no one talked... ever. Now I always have people to play and chat with.

Venus is a great server.. exp parties with legits is a lot of fun but I wouldnt want to be controlled by some rules that I have to follow for being legit. I know I am and thats it. If I make guild with few of my friends some of them use loader or even bot but I don't that guild would be already considered as botters guild. I couldn't join any of the legit pt's. Even if im legit. You cant have unlegit friend too as I see. I couldn't go hunt uniques with him or do jobs. The all legit thing is great but I think rules are too much. Some of them are stupid.
