lol you think MK 64 is the best and Mario Kart Wii is the worst...lol wow ok, well am sorry but thats very shocking to me. also that review is rubbish...its impossible to be hit by all of those things near the end of a race with the finishing line insite dont care what the review says...if you ACTUALLY played it then you would know this.
i have gone a lot of races where i dont get hit at all...yes i get hit at the end but its fine as i normally end up second or first anyone...but to get hit by all of those that review is lying for a start...if someone used lighting then everyone else gets shrunk and loses their weapon so its IMPOSSIBLE for someone to have a pow block, like wise if you use a pow block then everyone else likewise loses their weapons...lol reviewer is full of crap...and you dont believe me? go play the game...oh wait you said you did so you should know
@Satman83 He said "one after another" meaning the next thing that happened to him was the pow block. He didn't say simultaneously, 1 sec afterwards, etc... He said less than a quarter of a lap to go so it is possible. Even so, unless the A.I is in your vicinity, they don't lose items when struck by lightning. At least it didn't seem that way when I played...
I can get quotes from 50+ other reviews that say similar things about how cheap the series has become...
Just because it hasn't happened to you doesn't mean it isn't possible. You've just been lucky. Luck fest.

hey...i like to think there is some skill involved as well , rainbow road online is all about how good you can drive
I think I'm gonna get the 360, I'm at my brother's house right now and his friend has one and it's not really that good, I've played it before, but the guy who owns it doesn't even play it, he just keep it at my brothers house, and only my sister is playing it right now and she's a retard, lol. I might get it one day, but I think I'll get the 360 now, I don't like how nintendo is tending to casual gamers so much, I'm a hardcore gamer man, I need some challenges and some action.
@The Mario Kart review, I've never played wii mario kart, but I can imagine it's true, I have Mario Kart DS (which, Imo is better than 64, only bullshit thing is the blue shell) and it's awesome. I agree, some luck is there, but it's not like the game is conspiring against you, and if you don't come in 1st place in every game of 50 or 100 cc, then you suck, it's really hard to even lose on 150 cc unless at the very end you get blue and red shelled. But one time, this was frickin' badass, I was RIGHT at the end of the course, I was 2nd place because I got hit by a shell in mid flight and was knocked off the course, but then I laucnhed a red shell and it hit the guy in front of me, who was less than 2 feet away from the ending strip, and then a blue shell flew out and hit him and I JUST passed him to get 1st, ahh, it was a glorious day.
Anyways, yeah, that was a pretty pointless review, but I think I'll get the 360. When nintendo starts catering to gamers again I'll get the wii (or next christmas or something)
Thanks for all your help everyone, now help me find some good ds games in my other thread, lol

pretty much sums up what i was gonna say. love how so many people ive talked to who have a wii only have ssbb and twighlight princess. haha but i only have ssbb. get a 360, you'll regret getting a wii unless you become a hardcore ssbb player, then it will be worth it.
i hate how people say the Wii is only for casual gamers...it has games to suit all tastes...yet why is it 360 owners can only keep going on about is halo and gears...come on change the tune.

but apart form Fable II the others are on other consoles and platforms as well.

Most of em not on the wii though and its going between the x360 and wii here
well then in that case...only a few games come out of the Wii and the 360.
but i would say that the Wii has more "Wii only games", not saying that most of them are even any good...most are not good games. but apart from Fable II and GoW2 the 360 just like the Wii only has a few exclusive games that you can honestly say are really good and stand above the rest.
and yes i do have a 360 and i do enjoy it, but i enjoy my Wii more as it offers a unique way of playing games...also its free to play online
And 60 euro a year isn't much...It's like cheaper than a WoW subscription and you can play different games on the same online subscription Just buy a year subscription instead of a game and voila
The Mario kart for Wii wasn't too bad at all (only when you plug a game cube controller in.) But if you seriously try and play with the Wii remote your arms WILL get tired or its uber sensitive so you'll end up just getting pissed off. So just stick to 360. not enough good games for Wii anyways (next to none actually)
