Wait I am in and I question it. The big thing for me that really is ruining trying to spend some time on SRO is who the fark should I party with and how the frell it will reflect on everyone else. As someone who does not play daily or hardcore it is a bit much to ask that we remember absolutely every union and guild etc. Fun is fun but that sort of stuff can still harsh a buzz. Trust me if every time I am on I am asking is it ok to be with so and so I would quickly get ignored I am sure. It is all part and parcel of why I am not on that much. I know it is a matter of time till I fark up on accident lol. So it just kinda is meh.

There are a total of 4 Unions(BLD, BHA, FBL, and AVA). I don't think it's hard to remember 4 Union emblems. As for the fringe guilds that are without union it shouldn't be to difficult to just ask if the guild in question is white listed.

I'm going to list the rules of Venus in shorthand; I want you to explain how each one "robs" Venus players of their freedom. Keep in mind; the Venus rules find their roots in the ToS.

1. Don't bot.
2. Don't buy Gold.
3. Don't use third party programs.
   
   • [I.E.] Programs not allowed by Joymax. Obviously something like Xfire wouldn't fall under this rule.
4. Don't get powerlvled by botters & and don't party with botters (excluding dis party)
   
   • This requires some explaining: The rule is basically there to prevent the botters from having fun. This game is all about having fun; if one wants a legit server for legits then one mustn't give the botters breathing space. I don't see how this is new or radical. It was done in 60 and 70 cap. Why can't it be applied now?
5. The last rule: *Anyone above 40 that does not have a guild will be considered illegitimate.
   
   • This is a new addition to the confederation; one that has it's pros and cons.

also once you start lvling, you will quickly know who is in your lvl range. you will probably be lvling with the same people. it's only hard at lower lvls but by the time your lvl 60+ it's quite easy.

well the thing is you are being in the legit guild, union u mostly party and for party ur guildmates or unionmates so most of the time you are partying with them and most of the bot unions and guilds have known logos the rest fall under bot category because it is just impossible to know all the bot guilds and players and especially guildless players since we can not monitor them to know if they are legit or not. Thats y theres no 40+ guildless partying rule so if they turned out to be bots people get kicked out of the guilds so we chose not to party with them and consider them as bots. The rules of the confed are reasonable, pretty much same as the ToS from JM, only thing is the rules are ENFORCED on venus, i can understand why its hard for some people to understand since there so used to joymax, but its okay, all is well don't be frightened now, their there to help you enjoy the game again.

under 40 there are too meny legits to keep track of. thats why our rules allow alot of freedom to players under 40. its the period where u learn whos who and what the rules are. over 40 your expected to take some responsibility for your actions. over 40 most players are part of the 4 unions, and those that are not are well known to most players so if you were in a pt with one of them, the pt members would let you know he/she is legit.

we tried to make a system as fair as possible. its not perfect, but its also open for all legits to debate and fix if they have a good seggestion. the senate represents all legit unions and membership is very easy to get.

as long as you follow the basic rules of no botting, no bot parties of any kind, and no out of game transactions, you can level from 1-90 without even noticeing the confederation is even there and still be considered legit.

and no you dont need to be part of any guild to be legit. if you want to stay solo, simple inform the confed and get your account onto the whitelist before u hit 50. or u can make a solo guild and join the legit storage guild list.

You cannot judge Venus and it's ways unless you played on it. For the war vs Epic I went to Venus for the day and got invited to come look at Eye Peak area. And well .. I was amazed 3-4 8/8 parties killing stuff amazingly fast all TALKING and all having fun ( Making fun of me : ( )

This ? This is what happens when you bring in STRICT guidelines which many people are urged to obey. It might seems ridiculous for many seeing as they play on dead servers wear the most action is a 8/8 bot pt where 6 of it's members have been laying dead on the floor for 10 hours. If you think it is sooo crazy than piss off and leave them be. Fact is your server will never be as active as Venus. Hell my server .. it's shit too but I cba to re-roll on a server where I have no money
