Hmm...someone started this debate again ...try reading Rene Descartes work about this matter....and I can't help myself for being a nerd in this matter xD

and reality or dreams are no different...they both the same..however one is ruled with senses and other rules by minds that has no senses to tell them the differences between the dream and the real..its the same deal as, how can we know we are playing SRO, whereas we don't exactly know that whether we are being played with in our own little world by some unknown external forces? What Morpheus said bears the mark of ignorance about this issue: '..If real is something that you can see, smell, or touch, then real is nothing more but brain impulses..'

I think it's pretty reasonable to think like this. The Matrix brings up a lot of good points about reality and whether or not it's actually "real". I often think about stuff like this while I'm on the john, like if it was actually a totally different reality, and this world is like a "vacation" simulating the life of another person in some hyper advanced program.

Then what about moderate fantasizing about it once in a while? And what if we collectively thought so hard, we trancended the "super being's" abilities with our own? Imagine what would happen to us all, would we cease to exist as a whole, or would we dream up our own world? Like in FFX's world of Spira. The possibilities are endless for it.

For each his own perfect world, maybe the only way we can all truly be alive.
